The collection contains scientific contributions from members of the research team of the APVV 19-0419 project, as well as other experts from the field of legal history. They approximate the essential and relatively complicated processes of negotiations on important issues of the post-war arrangement and the further direction of individual countries. Contributions of foreign legal historians, which bring an alternative view of the examined issue, are a stimulating contribution to the collection. The anthology includes scientific studies related to the investigated issue, often with an overlap with the present. The collection also includes scientific contributions with positive legal topics. The collection in the presented form is thus primarily intended for readers from the professional public. Last but not least, it can interest the lay public interested in the issue of the post-war arrangement and Slovak-Hungarian relations.

The Intemational Scientific Conference - V. Slovak-Czech days of tax law on the topic Tax Law and New Phenomena in the Economy was held 5th - 6th June 2023 in Košice. Onthis occasion, a student symposium on the topic: "Financial Law and Tax Law in the 21st Century" was organized for students of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University Faculty of Law in Košice on 7th June 2023. The focus of the symposium was chosen due to the content of thegrant project VEGA no. 1/0485/21: "Simultaneity and possibilities of reforming the system ofown resources of the EU budget (legal and economic aspects also in the context of the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic) ",of the grant project VEGA no.1/0214/21: "Taxa/ionof real property - legal status and polential" and of the grant project APVV-19-0124 entitled" Tax law and new phenomena in the economy (digital services, sharedeconomy,virtualcurrencies) ", which are currently being addressed at the Department of Financial Law, Tax Law and Economy, Faculty of Law, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice.

The output of this symposium is a reviewed proceeding of papers, in which students focus on examining the issues of new phenomena in the digital economy (virtual currencies and the shared economy), but also the iss ues of the budget process, thedecision - making activity of the Court of Justice of the EU and theoretical - legal issues of tax justice with regard to the development of tax law.

The authors also assess in detail the current situation in the research area, and they also present de lege ferenda proposals that could contribute to the development and improvementof several aspects of taxation, which is a benefit not only for legal science but also for application practice.

Podkladom na vznik tejto publikácie boli jednak naše dlhoročné prekladateľské aktivity v oblasti anglofónnej poézie, jednak sústavný záujem o teoretické otázky z oblasti verzológie. Roky ukladania a zbierania materiálu napokon vyústili do tohto slovníka, ktorý predkladáme odbornej verejnosti s vedomím jeho neúplnosti a zavše aj terminologického tápania pri hľadaní ekvivalentu, keďže komplexnejšia komparatívna práca z tejto oblasti doposiaľ nevyšla. Aj preto popri ustálených terminologických ekvivalentoch sme sa rozhodli ponúknuť pri tých termínoch, ktoré zatiaľ slovenské ekvivalenty nemali, vlastné návrhy – tie sú graficky vyznačené kurzívou. Vzhľadom na úzko ohraničenú cieľovú skupinu používateľov sme upustili od slovnodruhovej charakteristiky jednotlivých heslových slov a okrem výnimiek aj od ich fonetického prepisu, teda javov bežných pri všeobecných slovníkoch. Okrem samostatných heslových slov slovník obsahuje aj ustálené kolokácie používané vo verzologickej literatúre. Keďže očakávame, že slovník bude aj študijným materiálom pre študentov anglickej a slovenskej filológie, k mnohým ekvivalentom sme do zátvorky pridali aj bližšiu charakterisiku alebo vysvetlenie daného termínu. Veríme, že tento slovník, prvý 1 Publikácia je výstupom z projektu KEGA č. 014UPJŠ- 4/2021 Preklad a recepcia viazanej poézie ako generačný problém. 6 svojho druhu v našom literárnovednom kontexte, sa stane dobrým základom pre ďalšie, rozsiahlejšie a komplexnejšie príručky.

U študentov jednoodborového a medziodborového štúdia biológie na fakultách s prírodovedným zameraním veľakrát vzniká pri štúdiu predmetu Anatómia človeka problém s definovaním rozsahu učiva. Predložený študijný materiál si kladie za cieľ zorientovať študentov nelekárskych vedných odborov v rozsiahlej anatomickej terminológii a ohraničiť množstvo požadovaných anatomických pojmov na optimum, aby študentom ostala popri osvojení si latinského názvoslovia dostatočná kapacita aj na zapamätanie ďalších poznatkov z oblasti systémovej, porovnávacej, vývinovej a funkčnej anatómie. Dôraz na usporiadanie jednotlivých anatomických termínov do logických celkov zároveň podporuje hierarchický pohľad na architektúru ľudského tela. Napriek zdanlivej samoúčelnosti sa tak anatomická terminológia stáva kostrou, na ktorú študent v priebehu ďalšieho štúdia nabaľuje vedomosti z viac alebo menej príbuzných vedných odborov študujúcich ľudské telo  a procesy, ktoré v ňom prebiehajú. Zároveň popri tejto ambícii presahujúcej rámec vedného odboru anatómie, nadväzujú Anatomické termíny na dlhú tradíciu anatomických repetitórií s rešpektovaním platného latinského a slovenského anatomického názvoslovia.

Skriptum predstavuje praktický doplnok ku vysokoškolským učebniciam Anatómie alebo Neuroanatómie a najmä k anatomickému atlasu, rozhodne však nemá ambíciu ich nahradiť. Research Into Correlations Between Deformations of Political Awareness and the Increase of Political Extremism Among Secondary School Students in the Košice Self-governing Region and the Prešov Self-governing Region The issue of political extremism has a relatively long research period, and it should be emphasised that, especially in the recent period, it has received increased attention in the political science community not just in Slovakia but also abroad. Given the specifics of this anti-democratic form of political discourse, which has not only explicit forms, but also highly sophisticated manifestations against democracy (extremism of the centre, or centrist extremism), it is also addressed by experts of other humanities and social disciplines: history, psychology, anthropology, sociology, etc. The common interest of this professional community is both to analyse different forms of extremist discourses and narratives, to search for national specificities of extremism that are anchored in their historical, social and cultural contexts, but at the same time to reveal transnational extremist influences within a globalizing world and to propose evidence-based strategies to counter extremist discourses.

Collection of contributions from the international scientific conference of PhD. students and young researchers was created as part of the international scientific conference of PhD. students and young researchers entitled "Law without borders" held on April 27, 2023 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik in Košice in connection with the solution of a scientific project entitled "Extraterritorial effects of foreign administrative decisions in the conditions of the European Union" supported by the Grant of the Scientific Grant Agency under no. 01/187/2022.

The aim of the mentioned project is the scientific examination of the extraterritorial impact of administrative decisions in the conditiions of the European Union, in order to determine and subsequently assess the necessity, as well as the extent of harmonization of the legal regulation of the member states of the European Union, based on the growing need to increase the level of free movement of administrative decisions within the European Union.

As part of the research project, an international scientific conference of PhD. students and young researchers was held entitled "Law without borders". PhD. students and young researchers were not only from Slovak republic but also from foreign universities. The main goal of the conference was to emphasize the increasing globalization of law, as a result of which it is no longer possible to perceive national law in isolation, but in correlation with the legal systems of other states, or with the right of transnational, or international organizations, as well as obligations arising for individual states from concluded international agreements. Individual sections and blocks of the conference also corresponded to this goal, within which not only knowledge from positive-legal disciplines, but also knowledge of a theoretical-legal and historical-legal nature was heard.

Naším cieľom bolo aj touto cestou otvoriť diskusiu o slovesnom folklóre v širších interpretačných, transkultúrnych a v konečnom dôsledku aj medziodborových kontextoch ‒ čo sa podarilo naplniť najmä v poslednom bode. Aj keď prispievatelia východiskovo pôsobia v odboroch folkloristiky a literárnej vedy, ich metodologický záber z iných ‒ niekedy aj vzdialenejších ‒ disciplín roztvára aktuálny diskurz do pozoruhodnej šírky. Je to dôkaz, že výskum ľudovej rozprávky je naďalej živý a prístupný novým výzvam.

There is still little complete information about the system of care for adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems, especially in Slovakia. Therefore, the main aim of this publication is to summarize and present current findings of the Care4Youth project, not only about the system, but also about the role of particular actors involved in the care of these adolescents, including family, professionals and schools. In the chapters, we take a closer look at the cooperation of all involved actors and, from the point of view of care providers from different types of institutions, we will describe all barriers that negatively affect adequate and effective help as well as suggestions how the identified barriers could be eliminated.

An important part of theoretical computer science is the problem of Turing machines. This computational model has two basic properties: like any other computational program, the software of a Turing machine is composed of instructions, but in its case they are all of a single type. Every other (so far known) computer program can be transformed into a Turing machine program without loss of information. While the second feature reduces the question of what a calculator cannot do to the question of what a Turing machine cannot do, the first feature allows a much simpler investigation of such a question. Using this computational model, we can thus find concrete problems that no automaton can ever deal with (perhaps the most famous is the problem of the Turing machine stopping). Their existence demonstrates the fundamental limitations of (not only ideal) computational means, and thus encourages both criticality and humility in our thinking.

This electronic material provides the basic principles of creating a systematic nomenclature of organic compounds, from the simplest hydrocarbons to the more complicated nomenclature of carbohydrates. For some groups of derivatives, alternative ways of generating system names are also mentioned, as well as the most common trivial names that are still in use in the literature and in practice, in some cases being the characteristic (dominant) ones. In the introductory section, the basic rules to be respected when writing names of organic compounds are discussed. This document is intended primarily for interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate students as support material for the courses Organic Chemistry and Selected Chapters in Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. In the final section of this document, solved examples are given so that the student can check how the rules for forming the names of organic compounds have been understood.
