Národná správa o zdraví a so zdravím súvisiacom správaní 11-, 13-, a 15-ročných školákov na základe prieskumu uskutočneného v roku 2021/2022 v rámci medzinárodného projektu „Health Behaviour in School-aged Children“ (HBSC)

Štúdia nám už niekoľko rokov poskytuje kľúčové poznatky k lepšiemu pochopeniu správania našich mladých ľudí v súvislosti so zdravím. Skúma množstvo tém súvisiacich so zdravím, ako je spánok, duševná pohoda, nutričné správanie či fyzická aktivita. Dôležitou oblasťou skúmania je aj škola a sociálne vzťahy v nej, rodina a rodinné zázemie, či vzťahy s rovesníkmi.

Zistenia prehlbujú porozumenie mechanizmom ovplyvňujúcim rozdiely a zmeny v zdraví a rizikovom správaní mladých ľudí a sú kľúčom k tvorbe efektívnych programov podpory zdravia a so zdravím súvisiaceho správania, vzdelávacích programov v tejto oblasti, k sledovaniu ich účinnosti, a to nielen na národnej, ale i na medzinárodnej úrovni. Zistené poznatky sú dôležité pre lepšie pochopenie potrieb školákov a prispôsobenie služieb a systémovej podpory tak, aby boli tieto potreby v čo najvyššej možnej miere zohľadňované v súčasnom rýchlo meniacom sa svete.

Štúdia nám môže napomôcť porozumieť vplyvom pandémie COVID-19 na kvalitu duševného i fyzického zdravia. Pandémia a s ňou súvisiace epidemiologické a hygienické opatrenia za účelom obmedzenia šírenia vírusu znamenali významné obmedzenia v každodennom živote ľudí vo všetkých vekových kategóriách – vrátane detí a adolescentov. Štandardný výchovno-vzdelávací proces, sociálny kontakt s rovesníkmi, krúžková činnosť a ďalšie záujmové aktivity v škole i mimo nej boli výrazne narušené, čo výrazne ovplyvnilo prežívanie školákov.

The monograph is devoted to social support, set in the adolescent's environment. Social support can also be described as relational support from the environment in which the individual lives, and thus increases his resistance to stress and the desire to overcome life's failures and crises. It is for this reason that social support was also defined in the context of social-ecological theory. An innovation in the relationship with social support was the "Push-pull" theory, oriented to the individual's motivation. The defining anchoring of social support was built on its most famous theories. However, the greatest attention was focused on the possibilities of measuring social support, because its multidimensional measurement is necessary to determine the mechanism by which it works. The monograph therefore offered the author's validation processing and verification of psychometric properties of two separate methodologies Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) - (Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet, Farley 1988) and Social Support Survey (MOS) - (Sherbourne, Stewart 1991). The monograph results in two validation-verified separate methodologies for measuring types and sources of social support, which are reliable for use in a group of Slovak adolescents (MOS-SK and MSPSS-SK).

In the environment of Slovak employers, an active approach to diversity and inclusion in the workplace is coming to the fore. Targeted diversity and inclusion programs help make employers more attractive on the labor market and attract more job seekers. Proactively, better working conditions are created for employees with responsibilities to the family (in most cases still in relation to mothers), groups of people who have been on the fringes of interest until now are also employed (elderly, disabled, LGBT groups, minorities, graduates of secondary and higher education schools). The presented collection of abstracts responds to the outlined facts, which is a grouping of the starting motives and conclusions of the contributions presented at the scientific conference Diverse and inclusive workplaces - legislative starting points organized by the department of labor law and social security law of the Faculty of Law of the P. J. Šafárik University in Košice, which took place on September 29, 2023 in a hybrid form. With their abstracts, the authors point to a range of problematic areas that are not only a reflection of academic considerations, but also those legal questions that have to be dealt with in ordinary legal practice. The goal is to use analysis and explanation to define the existing labor law measures/tools applicable to the implementation of diversity and inclusion in the workplace according to the current Slovak legal framework and the EU legal framework and thus emphasize the starting point of any effort to build diversity and the implementation of inclusion in the workplace.

The conference was dedicated to the vision of social work, its methods, and techniques in the context of societal changes. With the changing times come new challenges to which social work must be prepared to respond. The central focus of the collection is the search for answers to pre-defined questions: "Is the current social work system adequately configured for current societal problems? Can social work promptly respond to new and unknown challenges? Are the known methods of social work effective in dealing with contemporary negative phenomena? Do we need additional methods? If so, what are they?" Individual contributions touch on theoretical concepts in the search for answers, but they also include empirically based contributions that reflect research results from various areas of society and problematic situations, with a view to providing recommendations for both the theory and practice of social work.

The presented collection provides a summary of scientific works from the last international conference dealing with the issue of the Trianon Peace Treaty and the negotiations during the peace conference after 1918. The collection contains scientific contributions from members of the research team of the APVV 19-0419 project, as well as other experts from the field of legal history. Through their contributions, they offer an insight into the complex processes of the formation of Europe after the First World War. They approximate the essential and relatively complicated processes of negotiations on important issues of the post-war arrangement and the further direction of individual countries. Contributions of foreign legal historians, which bring an alternative view of the examined issue, are a stimulating contribution to the collection. The anthology includes scientific studies related to the investigated issue, often with an overlap with the present. The collection also includes scientific contributions with positive legal topics. The collection in the presented form is thus primarily intended for readers from the professional public. Last but not least, it can interest the lay public interested in the issue of the post-war arrangement and Slovak-Hungarian relations.

The Intemational Scientific Conference - V. Slovak-Czech days of tax law on the topic Tax Law and New Phenomena in the Economy was held 5th - 6th June 2023 in Košice. Onthis occasion, a student symposium on the topic: "Financial Law and Tax Law in the 21st Century" was organized for students of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University Faculty of Law in Košice on 7th June 2023. The focus of the symposium was chosen due to the content of thegrant project VEGA no. 1/0485/21: "Simultaneity and possibilities of reforming the system ofown resources of the EU budget (legal and economic aspects also in the context of the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic) ",of the grant project VEGA no.1/0214/21: "Taxa/ionof real property - legal status and polential" and of the grant project APVV-19-0124 entitled" Tax law and new phenomena in the economy (digital services, sharedeconomy,virtualcurrencies) ", which are currently being addressed at the Department of Financial Law, Tax Law and Economy, Faculty of Law, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice.

The output of this symposium is a reviewed proceeding of papers, in which students focus on examining the issues of new phenomena in the digital economy (virtual currencies and the shared economy), but also the iss ues of the budget process, thedecision - making activity of the Court of Justice of the EU and theoretical - legal issues of tax justice with regard to the development of tax law.

The authors also assess in detail the current situation in the research area, and they also present de lege ferenda proposals that could contribute to the development and improvementof several aspects of taxation, which is a benefit not only for legal science but also for application practice.

Podkladom na vznik tejto publikácie boli jednak naše dlhoročné prekladateľské aktivity v oblasti anglofónnej poézie, jednak sústavný záujem o teoretické otázky z oblasti verzológie. Roky ukladania a zbierania materiálu napokon vyústili do tohto slovníka, ktorý predkladáme odbornej verejnosti s vedomím jeho neúplnosti a zavše aj terminologického tápania pri hľadaní ekvivalentu, keďže komplexnejšia komparatívna práca z tejto oblasti doposiaľ nevyšla. Aj preto popri ustálených terminologických ekvivalentoch sme sa rozhodli ponúknuť pri tých termínoch, ktoré zatiaľ slovenské ekvivalenty nemali, vlastné návrhy – tie sú graficky vyznačené kurzívou. Vzhľadom na úzko ohraničenú cieľovú skupinu používateľov sme upustili od slovnodruhovej charakteristiky jednotlivých heslových slov a okrem výnimiek aj od ich fonetického prepisu, teda javov bežných pri všeobecných slovníkoch. Okrem samostatných heslových slov slovník obsahuje aj ustálené kolokácie používané vo verzologickej literatúre. Keďže očakávame, že slovník bude aj študijným materiálom pre študentov anglickej a slovenskej filológie, k mnohým ekvivalentom sme do zátvorky pridali aj bližšiu charakterisiku alebo vysvetlenie daného termínu. Veríme, že tento slovník, prvý 1 Publikácia je výstupom z projektu KEGA č. 014UPJŠ- 4/2021 Preklad a recepcia viazanej poézie ako generačný problém. 6 svojho druhu v našom literárnovednom kontexte, sa stane dobrým základom pre ďalšie, rozsiahlejšie a komplexnejšie príručky.

U študentov jednoodborového a medziodborového štúdia biológie na fakultách s prírodovedným zameraním veľakrát vzniká pri štúdiu predmetu Anatómia človeka problém s definovaním rozsahu učiva. Predložený študijný materiál si kladie za cieľ zorientovať študentov nelekárskych vedných odborov v rozsiahlej anatomickej terminológii a ohraničiť množstvo požadovaných anatomických pojmov na optimum, aby študentom ostala popri osvojení si latinského názvoslovia dostatočná kapacita aj na zapamätanie ďalších poznatkov z oblasti systémovej, porovnávacej, vývinovej a funkčnej anatómie. Dôraz na usporiadanie jednotlivých anatomických termínov do logických celkov zároveň podporuje hierarchický pohľad na architektúru ľudského tela. Napriek zdanlivej samoúčelnosti sa tak anatomická terminológia stáva kostrou, na ktorú študent v priebehu ďalšieho štúdia nabaľuje vedomosti z viac alebo menej príbuzných vedných odborov študujúcich ľudské telo  a procesy, ktoré v ňom prebiehajú. Zároveň popri tejto ambícii presahujúcej rámec vedného odboru anatómie, nadväzujú Anatomické termíny na dlhú tradíciu anatomických repetitórií s rešpektovaním platného latinského a slovenského anatomického názvoslovia.

Skriptum predstavuje praktický doplnok ku vysokoškolským učebniciam Anatómie alebo Neuroanatómie a najmä k anatomickému atlasu, rozhodne však nemá ambíciu ich nahradiť. Nájdete tu pohromade všetky potrebné termíny, ktoré môžete mať vždy poruke vo svojom telefóne, čítačke alebo notebooku. Research Into Correlations Between Deformations of Political Awareness and the Increase of Political Extremism Among Secondary School Students in the Košice Self-governing Region and the Prešov Self-governing Region The issue of political extremism has a relatively long research period, and it should be emphasised that, especially in the recent period, it has received increased attention in the political science community not just in Slovakia but also abroad. Given the specifics of this anti-democratic form of political discourse, which has not only explicit forms, but also highly sophisticated manifestations against democracy (extremism of the centre, or centrist extremism), it is also addressed by experts of other humanities and social disciplines: history, psychology, anthropology, sociology, etc. The common interest of this professional community is both to analyse different forms of extremist discourses and narratives, to search for national specificities of extremism that are anchored in their historical, social and cultural contexts, but at the same time to reveal transnational extremist influences within a globalizing world and to propose evidence-based strategies to counter extremist discourses.

Collection of contributions from the international scientific conference of PhD. students and young researchers was created as part of the international scientific conference of PhD. students and young researchers entitled "Law without borders" held on April 27, 2023 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik in Košice in connection with the solution of a scientific project entitled "Extraterritorial effects of foreign administrative decisions in the conditions of the European Union" supported by the Grant of the Scientific Grant Agency under no. 01/187/2022.

The aim of the mentioned project is the scientific examination of the extraterritorial impact of administrative decisions in the conditiions of the European Union, in order to determine and subsequently assess the necessity, as well as the extent of harmonization of the legal regulation of the member states of the European Union, based on the growing need to increase the level of free movement of administrative decisions within the European Union.

As part of the research project, an international scientific conference of PhD. students and young researchers was held entitled "Law without borders". PhD. students and young researchers were not only from Slovak republic but also from foreign universities. The main goal of the conference was to emphasize the increasing globalization of law, as a result of which it is no longer possible to perceive national law in isolation, but in correlation with the legal systems of other states, or with the right of transnational, or international organizations, as well as obligations arising for individual states from concluded international agreements. Individual sections and blocks of the conference also corresponded to this goal, within which not only knowledge from positive-legal disciplines, but also knowledge of a theoretical-legal and historical-legal nature was heard.

Okrem našej odbornej činnosti v oblasti animácie na univerzitnej pôde, sme organizátorkami množstva táborov pre deti. Súčasťou publikácie je súbor hier s čarodejníckou tematikou.

Zborník príspevkov Ľudová rozprávka v súvislostiach predkladáme odbornej verejnosti ako výstup z rovnomenného medzinárodného vedeckého kolokvia, ktoré sa uskutočnilo 12. decembra 2022. Naším cieľom bolo aj touto cestou otvoriť diskusiu o slovesnom folklóre v širších interpretačných, transkultúrnych a v konečnom dôsledku aj medziodborových kontextoch ‒ čo sa podarilo naplniť najmä v poslednom bode. Aj keď prispievatelia východiskovo pôsobia v odboroch folkloristiky a literárnej vedy, ich metodologický záber z iných ‒ niekedy aj vzdialenejších ‒ disciplín roztvára aktuálny diskurz do pozoruhodnej šírky. Je to dôkaz, že výskum ľudovej rozprávky je naďalej živý a prístupný novým výzvam.

There is still little complete information about the system of care for adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems, especially in Slovakia. Therefore, the main aim of this publication is to summarize and present current findings of the Care4Youth project, not only about the system, but also about the role of particular actors involved in the care of these adolescents, including family, professionals and schools. In the chapters, we take a closer look at the cooperation of all involved actors and, from the point of view of care providers from different types of institutions, we will describe all barriers that negatively affect adequate and effective help as well as suggestions how the identified barriers could be eliminated.
