This teaching guide for instructing students in Internet of Things programming using mathematical modeling and data analysis is intended for mathematics and computer science teachers in elementary and secondary schools, as well as for students training to teach these subjects. It responds to the requirements of the new curriculum reform in Slovakia, which emphasizes a cyclical learning process, the development of data, digital, and mathematical literacy, and the integration of teaching with real-world problems and technologies. The guide is designed in accordance with the methodological framework of design-based research. It contains technological and methodological foundations, as well as a set of proven teaching activities divided into three levels of difficulty. The teaching guide provides teachers with specific instructions, recommendations, and examples of best practices for the meaningful integration of IoT and mathematical modeling into teaching across different educational cycles, creating space for modern, interdisciplinary, and data-driven education.

This elektronic material provides practical guidance for determining the structure of organic compounds using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry (MS). The publication is intended primarily for single-discipline undergraduate and interdisciplinary undergraduate students in chemistry as a supplementary material for the course Methods of Structure Determination – Spectroscopic Methods. The text is divided into four parts: NMR, IR, MS, and exercises on combined structural analysis. Each section includes a brief theoretical introduction, practical tips for spectrum interpretation, solved examples, and especially unsolved exercises that allow students to practice analyzing real spectra. College scripts Programming in Python 1 are intended for future teachers of computer science. The content of the course is related to the teaching of programming in Scratch and is an introduction to text-based programming in Python.

Programming is introduced as a means of developing problem-solving skills. The first chapter is devoted to problem solving. The next 12 chapters sequentially introduce basic language constructions, data structures, and selected types of algorithms. Each of these chapters begins with an introduction to the problem. This section is primarily intended for self-study, to prepare students for the exercises. The following subchapter summarizes and completes the knowledge, and additional insights and approaches related to the chapter topic are presented. The chapters include a collection of exercises designed to practice and deepen knowledge and skills on the topic.

The final part of the chapter presents the solved problems. This section serves as a guide to solving the problems in the collection.

Flow cytometry is a diagnostic and research technique that enables rapid analysis of cells, nuclei and organelles of plants and other organisms. In plant biology, it is most often used for DNA content analysis in a wide range of applications. It is the method of first choice and its importance is even increasing compared to competing technologies. It is unrivaled in speed, accuracy, repeatability and low cost. Flow cytometry has become a standard tool in laboratories focused on biological-ecological plant research.

This textbook provides information on the historical development of flow cytometry and its establishment in the analysis of the plant genome. It describes the procedure of sample analysis to determine the nuclear DNA content and presents the basic applications, such as determination of genome size, ploidy level and reproduction modes of plants and determination of endopolyploidy level in plant tissues. These college textbooks are intended for students, teachers and anyone interested in the use of flow cytometry in scientific work with plant cells.

A significant part of inorganic chemistry is coordination chemistry, which deals with coordination compounds. Coordination compounds are numerous because they arise from the combination of central atoms, mostly metals, with ligands, and every organic compound is a potential ligand. This is confirmed by a recent report that American scientists M. Brookhart, C. Schauer, and their colleagues from universities in North Carolina and Washington described the preparation of a rhodium complex with methane as a ligand.

This textbook is based on the long-term experience of the author in teaching and testing this subject. The subject is well-covered in several textbooks of varying difficulty in English; their partial list can be found by readers in the list of used literature at the end of this textbook. On the other hand, in Slovak language, coordination chemistry issues are only marginally covered in several textbooks focused more on general inorganic chemistry but lack a comprehensive view on this topic. From this follows the goal of this proposed textbook - to cover the lack of study literature in this area for Slovak language.

This field of science is currently highly actual, as the results of the bioenergetics research in recent years clearly show that bioenergetics processes in living systems can "serve" not only to transformation of energy, but also affect the course of processes such as apoptosis, aging, origin and development of many diseases (especially neurodegenerative).

These facts clearly indicate the need for the existence of quality teaching texts that would allow students to acquire the necessary information and knowledge in this scientific discipline in an acceptable way. The movement of domain walls in ferromagnetic materials is utilized in various magnetic devices for storing, processing, or transmitting signals and information. This mainly includes transformer cores, various sensors, memory devices (e.g., HDDs in PCs), as well as modern spintronic devices such as Racetrack memories, domain wall motion-based electronics, and so on.

This book is intended to serve as a textbook for advanced courses in the field of magnetic materials. It is primarily aimed at students interested in studying magnetic materials, as well as professionals from various fields who wish to understand the basics of domain structure and its changes. It is divided into nine chapters. The first chapter deals with a brief history of the study of domain structure in magnetic materials. The second chapter provides an introduction to the causes and manifestations of magnetic anisotropies. The third and fourth chapters are devoted to the causes of domain structure formation and domain walls. The fifth chapter discusses the structure of domain walls, their potential, and the critical field required for domain wall movement. The sixth chapter is dedicated to magnetization processes, one of which - domain wall movement - is discussed in detail in chapter 7. The eighth chapter contains a theoretical solution for domain wall movement. The final ninth chapter presents a modern method of domain wall movement induced by electric current.

The presented work assumes that the reader has at least basic knowledge in the field of magnetism. Otherwise, the author refers the reader to basic literature (e.g., [2.1 - 2.6]).

The publication lists interim results of qualitative educational research focused on the development and evaluation of programming tasks being carried out by authors since 2005 in the frame of programming competition PALMA junior.

The publication consists of three chapters: Computer science competitions in Slovakia, Tasks in computer science education, Selected problems of PALMA junior competition. The first chapter provides an overview of computer science competitions for a primary and secondary schools in Slovakia. The second chapter described the issue of learning tasks - their components, focus, formulation types, and development system of tasks. The third chapter contains the assignments and commented author solutions of selected problems represented focus of PALMA junior competition – programming, algorithms and mathematics.

For each problem is mentioned analysis of pupils’ solutions aimed to ways of thinking, typical misconceptions, sets of preparatory and extended problems. The publication is addressed to computer science teacher trainers, authors of programming competitions problems, and computer science teachers.

The presented work provides basic knowledge of astronomy and astrophysics in a completely new multimedia format. The scope of the knowledge presented is mainly focused on stellar astrophysics and supplemented by cosmology beyond the title of the work.

A new approach in this work is the large proportion of visual materials, graphs, and video clips, contrasted with the brevity of the accompanying text.
