Physiotherapy represents a key component of comprehensive healthcare, supporting the restoration of functional abilities, promoting patient independence, and reducing the risk of complications associated with immobility. In the context of nursing, it plays an irreplaceable role in the prevention of pressure ulcers, contractures, muscle atrophy, and respiratory problems. Cooperation between physiotherapists and nurses enables effective planning and implementation of interventions aimed at supporting patient mobility.  The text highlights the need for close interdisciplinary collaboration among nurses, physiotherapists, and other members of the healthcare team. Physiotherapy in nursing is presented as a process that goes beyond exercise alone—it includes patient and family education, motivation support, training in activities of daily living, and thorough assessment of functional status.

Its goal is to present some lesser-known vascular diseases, or clinical conditions requiring rapid diagnosis. The text analyzes diseases occurring less frequently in clinical practice, such as aortitis, vascular malformations, peripheral arteriovenous malformations, pelvic venous diseases, and Klippel-Trénaunay syndrome. The textbook also addresses conditions that require rapid diagnosis, such as acute mesenteric ischemia and infectious aortitis. Within the scope of vasoneuroses, it describes Raynaud's phenomenon and childhood vascular diseases, such as hemangiomas. The text also touches on late complications associated with arteriovenous shunts in patients treated with hemodialysis.
