Trojzväzková moderne poňatá učebnica patológie pre študentov medicínskych odborov. Učebnica je rozdelená do troch zväzkov (predajná je iba ako celok). Súčasťou každej knihy je heslo pre prístup do online galérie na stránke www.ucebnice-patologie.cz
Na vzniku učebnice sa podieľalo viac ako 40 popredných odborníkov, je rozdelená do troch dielov, spolu majú cez 1000 strán. Učebnica nie je koncipovaná ako zoznam minimálnych znalostí pre hranične úspešné zloženie skúšky z patológie na konci 3. ročníka (pokiaľ by už učebný text takýmito „minimálnymi“ výpiskami bol, nezostane študentovi než memorovať - a to si neprajeme). Ľudské ochorenia, ktoré v učebnici študentovi predstavujeme, sme sa snažili zrozumiteľne vysvetliť a zasadiť ich do širšieho kontextu medicíny a biológie. Nová je učebnica aj svojou vizuálnou úpravou zahrňujúcou rad grafických prvkov pre uľahčenie orientácie v texte a vnímanie hierarchie informácií. V učebnici sú viac ako štyri stovky nákresov a schém.

Bolest v břiše je jedním z nejčastějších symptomů, se kterými nemocní vyhledávají lékaře. Když přijde pacient s bolestí břicha, je nutno zodpovědět mnoho otázek: kde je lokalizována, jaké je intenzity, kdy začala a jaký je vyvolávající nebo úlevový podnět nebo poloha a navázanost na určitou situaci, kam vyzařuje a zda byl nemocný již pro tuto obtíž vyšetřován, co bylo prokázáno a jak dlouho obtíže trvají.

Dětská neurologie zahrnuje celou řadu diagnóz, které jsou způsobeny onemocněním mozku, míchy a periferních nervů a svalů. Dětský neurolog nejčastěji řeší epilepsie, bolesti hlavy, dětské mozkové obrny, zánětlivá onemocnění mozku, nervosvalová onemocnění a další. Jak lze ale neurologické diagnózy, které mají svůj původ v CNS, oddělit od psychiatrických onemocnění? Procesy, které probíhají v neurálních sítích, jsou velmi komplexní a jednotlivé neurologické a psychiatrické projevy tvoří jakési kontinuum, prolínají se a často velmi intenzivně kombinují. Psychiatrické projevy u neurologických onemocnění však mohou mít svá specifika a někdy striktní rozdělení na neurologii a psychiatrii možné není. Naše poznání o komplexnosti neurálních sítí je čím dál hlubší a oba obory více a více splývají. Stejně tak jak byla neuropsychiatrie v minulosti ukotvena jako samostatný obor (a to až do 50. let minulého století), tak se možná dočká ještě své renesance a interdisciplinární péče, která už tak je v oboru dětské neurologie zásadní, získá ještě více na důležitosti.
Kniha se klade za cíl podívat se především na dětské neurologické diagnózy více komplexně, interdisciplinárně. Snaží se definovat specifika psychiatrických komorbidit u neurologických onemocnění v dětském věku, a to nejen z patofyziologického pohledu, ale i z pohledu různých terapeutických specifik. Monografie si klade za cíl informovat odbornou veřejnost o nejnovějších teoretických i klinických poznatcích v prudce se rozvíjejícím oboru klinické onkologie. V novém vydání byla přepracována a rozšířena preklinická část knihy – pokrývá všechny oblasti molekulární onkologie, které je zapotřebí znát pro hlubší pochopení příčin vzniku, šíření nádorů i jejich odpovědi na protinádorovou léčbu. Samostatné kapitoly jsou věnovány tkáňové homeostáze a jejím poruchám v tumorogenezi, mechanismům kancerogeneze, poruchám intracelulární signalizace, poruchám nádorového mikroprostředí, procesu angiogeneze a metastazování. Kniha též reaguje na pokrok v oblasti nádorové imunoterapie. Teoretická část knihy dále obsahuje významné farmakologické kapitoly, které čtenáře seznámí s problematikou eliminace protinádorových léků a s významem lékových interakcí i s metodikou klinických studií.
Ve druhé části se čtenář setká s rešeršním zpracováním diagnostiky a léčby základních diagnóz, které syntetizuje poznatky klinické a radiační onkologie, a umožňuje tak lékaři provést po přečtení krátkého textu kvalifikované rozhodnutí u konkrétního nemocného. Orientace v knize je usnadněna logickým řazením jednotlivých diagnóz ve shodě s aktuální verzí Mezinárodní klasifikace nemocí. Monografie nabízí čtenáři mnohem více, než slibuje titulek. Nejde jen o jednoduchý manuál pro podávání sedace a analgezie během rutinní medicínské praxe v různých oborech, ale obsahuje i málo známá fakta z experimentů na zvířatech i z klinických studií.
V obecné části jsou kromě krátkých dějin definovány jednotlivé druhy analgosedace a uvedeny legislativní souvislosti. Dále jsou zmíněny zásady bezpečné analgosedace prováděné také neanesteziology mimo lůžková zařízení, je uveden detailní přehled výhod a nevýhod různých způsobů aplikace farmak od standardních (orální, intramuskulární, intravenózní) po netradiční (nazální, bukální, sublinkvální, konjunktivální) spolu s příklady využití a pro praxi důležité prvky bezpečnosti při použití u pacienta. Je k dispozici přehled komplikací v přímé souvislosti s analgosedací a možnosti jejich zvládání a zmíněna i analgosedace ve speciálních situacích (přednemocniční péče, urgentní příjem, agresivní pacient).
Ve speciální části následuje zevrubný popis farmak a jejich kombinací pro tradiční i netradiční způsoby aplikace. U každého farmaka jsou uvedeny podrobné farmakokinetické a farmakodynamické údaje, doprovázené příklady z použití v experimentu nebo klinice. Tento přehled svým rozsahem a detaily předstihuje většinu běžných učebnic farmakologie popisujících stejná farmaka, a představuje tak jedinečnou možnost rozšíření znalostí lékařů v oborech, které uvedená farmaka využívají. Klinická část uvádí praktické postupy analgosedace vycházející z bohatých zkušeností autorů.
V současné české literatuře neexistuje kniha zabývající se podrobně sedací při vědomí, ač napříč medicínskými obory stále stoupá počet výkonů v ní prováděných. Knihu lze doporučit nejen anesteziologům, ale i všem lékařům-neanesteziologům, kteří ji využijí jako manuál při podávání analgosedace.

Nežádoucí reakce na léky jsou časté. Z toho hypersenzitivní reakce se vyskytují u 1–15 % hospitalizovaných pacientů. Klinický průběh je pestrý, od mírných až po život ohrožující reakce. Volba náhradní medikace může být obtížná pro možnou zkříženou reaktivitu nebo pro mnohočetné polékové reakce. Pacienti označení nesprávnou diagnózou hypersenzitivní reakce na léky jsou zbytečně léčeni náhradní medikací, která nemusí být nejúčinnější. Tato kniha poskytuje přehled o epidemiologii, imunopatologii, klinických projevech, diagnostických postupech a léčbě včetně indukce dočasné lékové tolerance (tzv. desenzitizace) u indikovaných pacientů. Ve speciální části jsou probrány nejčastější lékové skupiny, u kterých se hypersenzitivní reakce objevují (antibiotika, nesteroidní antirevmatika včetně kyseliny acetylsalicylové, lokální anestetika, nízkomolekulární hepariny, biologická léčba, cytostatika a perioperační medikace). Z vyšetřovacích látek je pozornost věnována kontrastním látkám. Také jsou probrána specifika hypersenzitivní reakce v dětském věku, v graviditě, u autoimunitních a nádorových onemocnění. Výsledkem alergologického a imunologického vyšetření je vydání průkazu alergika s jednoznačným uvedením léků zakázaných a náhradní medikace.
Kniha je určena širokému spektru lékařů (praktičtí lékaři, specialisté) a má charakter postgraduálního vzdělávání. Pro specialisty z oboru alergologie a klinická imunologie jsou v knize uvedeny podrobné návody k diagnostice a léčbě včetně desenzitizačních protokolů pro jednotlivé lékové skupiny.

This academic textbook is addressed to students of English linguistics as an introductory course on syntax, but also to anyone interested in the composition of the English sentence, whether affiliated with academia, school teachers or practising translators. The textbook pursues the Prague Linguistic School tradition of functional structuralism along with an onomasiological perspective as the major methodological focus of the Košice Onomasiological School of Linguistics. Within an onomasiological approach to syntactic analysis the key to the identification of surface structures (ranked as Phrases, Clauses, and Sentences on the syntactic pyramid) is the syntactic meaning (a frame-to-chain approach). The syntactic analysis starts with identification of the arrangement of semantic roles (a deep valency frame) and proceeds to determine a surface valency chain, often several of them, by means of surface grammatical and structural tests. Readers are encouraged to use their intuitions in deciphering the syntactic meaning and identifying the surface chain capable of its activation in both the English sentence analysis as well as cross-linguistically.

This is a highly topical issue, as the need to eliminate racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance by means of criminal law is an important topic with regard to the social situation. The recodification of the criminal codes in 2024 has significantly affected both the substantíve and procedural areas of criminal law, which is the means of ultima ratio. Considering the social developments and the recent amendments to the pena! codes, we consider the theme of the conference and the titlc of the proceedings to be highly topical, containing a significant scope for scientific research.

The school is continuation of the Winter Schools of Synchrotron radiation held in 2011, 2013, 2014 and SFEL 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022. The aim of the SFEL2024 school is to facilitate the growth of new Slovak research community of high expertise in high-efficiency RTG laser and synchrotron and neutron sources. The SFEL school is designed for efficient transfer of the rapidly developing know-how in these areas to young generation – researchers and university students. The next aim of the SFEL2024 is strengthening of personal connections between the local Slovak research community and forming scientific teams of XFEL users. Slovak research community thus can take advantage of the fact that Slovakia is a shareholder of European XFEL GmbH Company in Hamburg, but also makes more efficient use of other closely related scientific facilities, including ILL and ESRF in Grenoble and DESY in Hamburg.

Given the importance of the ownership right, the aim of this monograph is to provide an analysis, a clear systematic interpretation and an evaluation of the above issue, not only from the theoretical point of view, but also from the point of view of legal practice. The protection of ownership relations is ensured in various ways. It is judicial protection, protection provided by local self-government authorities, self-help, public registration of real property and other instruments of administrative and criminal law. In connection with the transformation of legislation in Slovakia and Poland after the fall of the socialist regime, there have been many changes in the legislation of both countries concerning the protection of ownership rights. A number of private law institutions related to the ownership of real property, the use of which was impossible or limited during the socialist period, have been restored. Legislation has also been adopted to alleviate the consequences of certain property and other injustices caused by the deprivation of ownership of real property during the socialist period. The adoption of restitution legislation was the basis for restoring the ownership rights of the original owners, who were allowed to get back their real property that had been used by socialist organisations. After the end of the socialist regime, the various forms of ownership, which until then had favoured the state ownership, were abolished. Changes were made to ensure that the ownership rights of all owners had the same content and enjoyed the same legal protection. The monograph is structured in such a way as to enable a comparison of individual institutions of rights in rem under Polish and Slovak law. The monograph also analyses the relevant decision-making practice of the supreme judicial authorities. The scientific methods applied enabled the authors not only to analyse and evaluate the historical context and the current legal regulation of ownership rights in Poland and Slovakia, but also to point out possible gaps and shortcomings and to elaborate de lege ferenda proposals that can be used in future legislative activity.

This monograph examines when the state has the right to intervene in the legal relationship between contracting parties, and if it is possible, when it can act as a legislator and/or a law applier and what the nature of the intervention may be. In this study, the limits related to the rights and obligations of the parties are scrutinized. The monograph delineates the theoretical frameworks of state intervention. The author distinguishes the forms of intervention concerning future contracts and those already concluded. The study lists the circumstances grounding the mandatory norms concerning future contracts with the presentation of Roman law. In the context of state influence on the content of contracts already concluded, judicial decisions play a stronger role than legislation and government measures also appear. The monograph presents the legislative measures affecting the contracts already concluded and the reasons thereof in a differentiated way, divided into different periods. In the author's view, World War I and especially the subsequent Treaty of Trianon brought a significant change in the assessment of state intervention, and therefore, he devotes special attention to the examination of this period. The monograph provides an outline of overview of the international tendencies of the period from the peace treaty to the present day. The study presents the era of Hungarian legislation being prone to make mandatory rules and delineates the relevant provisions of the applicable Hungarian law. At the end of the monograph the reader can find the author’s evaluative comments. While acknowledging the positive aspects of state involvement, attention should also be paid to the dangers of excessive state intervention in Eastern Europe.

V publikaci se snažíme seniory oslovovat jako klienty, přitom klientem se v jistém smyslu stáváme na různých postech i my sami. V jednotlivých kapitolách jsou připojena psychomotorická cvičení pro rozvoj koordinace, rovnováhy, spolupráce a radosti z pohybu. Každá část cvičení je zpracovaná pro mobilní klienty, potom pro imobilní klienty a ta je rozdělena na sedící seniory a na ležící seniory. Řadu nabízených cvičení lze využívat pro všechny skupiny seniorů, vždy záleží na schopnosti sociálního pracovníka převést nabízenou pohybovou aktivitu pro konkrétního seniora s respektováním všech jeho individuálních zvláštností. Doporučujeme využívat zejména pozitivní přístupy a vždy respektovat aktuální stav seniora. Všechny popsané aktivity lze libovolně doplňovat, měnit a využívat podle denní potřeby každého klienta individuálně. Toto cestou bychom chtěli poděkovat za spolupráci při tvorbě knihy paní Evě Marcinkové a paní Libuši Pospíšilové.
