The work "Case Studies in Administrative Law" is an extensive and practice-oriented publication primarily intended for students of law faculties and universities with a focus on public administration. Its main objective is to deepen the reader’s knowledge in various areas of administrative law through specific case studies, with an emphasis on the application of legal norms in real-life situations. The publication consists of 20 thematically organized chapters that cover a wide range of administrative agendas, such as internal administration, trade licensing, environmental protection, healthcare, transportation, education, justice, and national defense.

The presented annotated source edition represents the first systematic attempt to process selected documents related to the history of personal automobilism in Slovakia during the interwar period. It addresses a notable research and publication gap in Slovak historiography, where the topic of automobilism has long remained marginal. Although research in this field has progressed over the last two decades, Slovak scholarship still lags behind Czech historiography. The main ambition of the edition is to present a broad selection of sources to highlight key thematic lines in the development of personal automobilism. The sources are divided into two main thematic groups: economic-legislative issues and cultural-social dimensions. Special attention is given to car accessibility, infrastructure, legal frameworks, visual advertising, and the activities of motoring associations. The typologically diverse corpus includes archival records, printed materials, visual sources, and photographs. The edition builds on a 2017 authorial monograph, expanding it with new insights and sources. It draws from collections housed in the National Archives in Prague, the Slovak National Archive, and various regional archives. The work also benefits from the application of modern methodological approaches, such as Business History and cultural history. The project was carried out under the scientific grant VVGS-2022-2431 at the Faculty of Arts, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. Its results are closely linked to the teaching activities of the research team. The edition is the result of several stages – from heuristics, selection, and processing to peer review and publication. The publication contributes to a vivid understanding of the historical aspects of automobilism and expands knowledge of modernization processes in Slovakia. It also offers potential for use in educational practice and further academic research.

Učebnica tvorí základ pre povinné štúdium latinského jazyka na všetkých typoch zdravotníckych škôl v prvom ročníku. Učivo je usporiadané tak, aby študenti zvládli väčšinu látky pod vedením učiteľa v škole. Každá lekcia tvorí organický celok alebo časť celku. Jednotlivé lekcie na seba navzájom nadväzujú tematicky i slovnou zásobou a vnútorne sú logicky spojené jednoduchými metodickými zásadami.

Základom učebnice je slovná zásoba. Termíny sú uvedené samostatne a vo vzájomných odborných väzbách. V jednoduchých vetách sa vysvetľujú príslušné gramatické javy, a to štruktúrne aj obsahovo. Zameranie i praktické využitie určujú frekvenciu gramatických kategórií (nie sú zahrnuté príklady so všetkými osobami či pádmi). Časovým možnostiam a úrovni náročnosti je prispôsobená aj slovná zásoba. Gramatické poznámky vysvetľujú gramatické javy nevyhnutné pre štúdium a používanie názvoslovia. Veľká pozornosť sa preto venuje tvoreniu slov, skloňovaniu podstatných a prídavných mien, postaveniu a tvaru prívlastkov, ale tiež precvičovaniu. Tabuľky a prehľady majú prispieť k rýchlej orientácii pri opakovaní a zapamätaní učiva.

Zborník z XIII. ústavných dní s názvom „Konanie o súlade právnych predpisov – návrhové oprávnenie a účinky rozhodnutí ústavného súdu“ reflektuje novú právnu úpravu účinnú od 1. januára 2025, konkrétne čl. 127 ods. 5 Ústavy SR, ktorá rozširuje právomoci sťažovateľov iniciovať konanie o súlade právnych predpisov prostredníctvom Ústavného súdu Slovenskej republiky. Príspevky renomovaných odborníkov mapujú teoretické aj praktické výzvy spojené s touto novou kompetenciou. Zborník tematicky pokrýva otázky týkajúce sa iniciačných mechanizmov senátov Ústavného súdu, derogačných a časových účinkov rozhodnutí či komparatívnych skúseností z Českej republiky, Maďarska a Poľska. Publikácia zároveň ponúka reflexiu širších javov, ako je judicializácia politického života, či rast implicitných právomocí ústavných súdov. Niektoré príspevky sa zameriavajú na otázky právnej istoty a retroaktivity derogačných nálezov, najmä v konaniach iniciovaných všeobecnými súdmi. Iné analyzujú aplikačné dopady spojenia individuálnej ústavnej sťažnosti a abstraktnej kontroly právnych predpisov. V rámci odborného programu odznie šesť plenárnych prednášok významných odborníkov z Univerzity Pavla Jozefa Šafárika a uskutočnia sa dva workshopy. Prezentovať výsledky svojej doterajšej vedeckovýskumnej práce bude spolu 52 doktorandov dennej formy štúdia, z toho 26 doktorandov v sekcii lekárskych a prírodných vied (Lekárska fakulta/Prírodovedecká fakulta) a 26 doktorandov v sekcii spoločenskovedných a humanitných vied (Právnická fakulta/Fakulta verejnej správy/Filozofická fakulta).

The students also addressed the impact of the conference's decisions on political and social structures that significantly influenced global development in the 20th century. In addition to the declared outcomes, the students also expressed, in written form within the proceedings, the need to strengthen international cooperation and establish institutions for the prevention of military conflicts, a need that remains relevant today, as these decisions continue to shape the dynamics of contemporary international relations.
