Zborník príspevkov z konferencie

V dňoch 11. a 12. júna 2015 zorganizovala Katedra obchodného práva a hospodárskeho práva Právnickej fakulty Univerzity P. J. Šafárika v Košiciach už v poradí 13. stretnutie katedier obchodného práva Právnických fakúlt univerzít Českej republiky a Slovenskej republiky, čo len dokumentuje, že myšlienka každoročného stretávania sa predstaviteľov katedier obchodného práva, ktorú incioval prof. Bejček z Právnickej fakulty Masarykovej univerzity Brno, padla na úrodnú pôdu a verme, že takéto stretnutia budú pokračovať aj naďalej. Nielen pre zachovanie tradície ale hlavne pre osožnosť takýchto stretnutí a záujem ich účastníkov stretávať sa.

Tradičnou súčasťou týchto stretnutí, okrem výmeny poznatkov a informácií z realizácie pedagogického procesu a výmeny skúseností je aj vedecká konferencia zameraná na aktuálne otázky obchodného práva. Tohtoročná konferencia sa uskutočnila pod názvom Slovenské a české obchodné právo v roku 2015 – Vybrané problémy. Z jednotlivých katedier je do zborníka z konferencie zaradených celkom 17 príspevkov, ktoré sú rozdelené do troch problémových okruhov. Prvý okruh príspevkov tvoria príspevky tematicky zamerané na vybrané problémy právnej úpravy obchodných spoločností a jej praktickej realizácie. Do druhého okruhu sú zaradené príspevky orientované na oblasť rozhodcovského konania a na konkurzné právo. Do ostatného okruhu sú zaradené príspevky zamerané na výklad novelizovanej úpravy úrokov z omeškania v obchodných záväzkových vzťahoch a na problémy pri aplikácii tejto úpravy, na problematiku výkladu právnych úkonov úpravy obsiahnutej v novom českom Občianskom zákonníku. Súčasťou tejto časti je tiež informatívny príspevok o vývoji slovinského obchodného práva a jeho súčasnej podobe.

This academic textbook is addressed to students of English linguistics as an introductory course on syntax, but also to anyone interested in the composition of the English sentence, whether affiliated with academia, school teachers or practising translators. The textbook pursues the Prague Linguistic School tradition of functional structuralism along with an onomasiological perspective as the major methodological focus of the Košice Onomasiological School of Linguistics. Within an onomasiological approach to syntactic analysis the key to the identification of surface structures (ranked as Phrases, Clauses, and Sentences on the syntactic pyramid) is the syntactic meaning (a frame-to-chain approach). The syntactic analysis starts with identification of the arrangement of semantic roles (a deep valency frame) and proceeds to determine a surface valency chain, often several of them, by means of surface grammatical and structural tests. Readers are encouraged to use their intuitions in deciphering the syntactic meaning and identifying the surface chain capable of its activation in both the English sentence analysis as well as cross-linguistically.

Publication called Scientific communication and management of research projects serves as background and teaching material. Its aim is to help university students and researchers develop competencies important for scientific work, such as scientific integrity, critical work with literary sources, management of research projects and scientific communication. Publication is divided into four parts. The first part is focused on the preparation of a research project, where it is important to know the basic ethical principles applied in the research project, but also to be able to critically assess literary sources and process them. In the second part, it provides information on the preparation of research projects and their management, including their financing, from preparation and planning, through initialization to implementation, management, logistics, monitoring, evaluation and termination. The third part pays attention to the preparation, processing and presentation of scientific results in the form of a scientific article, presentation, poster or press release, thus covering not only a professional but also a lay audience. The final fourth part provides information about communication with a scientific journal, whether it is the process of sending, revising an article up to its publication, or the process of assessing scientific work by scientific journal editors in the process of screening and peer review.

One of the fundamental characteristics of the magnetic state of ferromagnetic materials is the existence of a domain structure. The university textbook "MAGNETIC DOMAINS: SPECIAL PHYSICAL PRACTICE 1" is intended primarily for students of the Master's programme in Physics of Condensed Matter FKLm and for the PhD programme in Progressive Materials PMd within the profile subject Special Practice 1 at the Institute of Physical Sciences of the Faculty of Sciences of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice.  The textbook is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the basics of domain theory, including the history of domain observation and the specification of different types of energies in ferromagnetic body. The second chapter presents the relationship between domain structure and magnetisation processes in ferromagnetic materials The third chapter describes the different types of domain-wall interactions with the defect. The fourth chapter illustrates examples of domain structure in selected ferromagnetic body such as grain oriented and non-grain oriented electrical steels, amorphous and nanocrystalline ribbons. The fifth chapter summarises an overview of the different experimental methods used to visualise the domain structure and their advantages or disadvantages with respect to the structure of ferromagnetic materials. The last two chapters, the sixth and the seventh, are devoted to specific experimental tasks for observing the domain structure of a selected polycrystalline sample using the optical microscope Bitter powder method and the MFM (magnetic force microscopy) method. During the preparation of this undergraduate text, its individual parts were developed using the foreign language literature listed in the recommended references.

The university textbook offers a view of the family in social contexts. It deals with the basic characteristics of the family, the life cycle of the family from the choice of partner, through the arrival of children in the family to the end of the family. During its duration, the family performs various functions. A functional family is ideal for a harmonious relationship between partners and a suitable environment for raising children.

However, a number of factors enter the life of the family, which directly or indirectly affect the performance of these functions and can cause various disorders. It is here that the task of social work is to offer help to families to cope with their big and small problems. A specific feature of social work is the focus on the whole and a comprehensive assessment of the family, where it is necessary to take into account both the client's point of view and the aspect of the environment in which he lives and which constantly affects him. Therefore, the university textbook offers procedures for social work with the family, from the assessment of the life situation, through the plan of work with the family to social intervention.

The university textbook is intended for students of social work, who have the opportunity to practice complex issues within the assessment of the case through the enclosed case studies.

Hlavným cieľom predkladanej práce je snaha o zachytenie rozhodujúceho spôsobu Heideggerovho filozofického chápania ústredného problému gréckej filozofie, problému bytia, v učeniach Anaximandra, Herakleita, Parmenida, Platona a Aristotela. Autori jednotlivých častí predstavili svoje vlastné chápanie Heideggera a jeho osobitú filozofickú recepciu gréckej filozofie. V tomto kontexte je potrebné konštatovať, že autori sami hľadali svoj vlastný uhol pohľadu. Pri Heideggerovej tvorbe vôbec platí, že nájsť rovnaký interpretačný súzvuk je takmer nemožné. To zároveň platí aj pre jeho recepciu gréckeho dedičstva. O to viac však odborne provokuje ďalšie filozofické skúmania.

Despite the fact that a psychologist may have a good moral background, it is necessary for everyone to know and act in accordance with ethical professional principles in order not to harm the clients with whom they work in the course of psychological practice. There are many case studies in the professional literature that describe serious situations of violations of psychological ethics. On the one hand, they depict conscious professional misconduct or ignorance. On the other hand, they have contributed to the introduction of even legal standards for the ethical behavior of psychologists as professionals. Completion of a course or training in the topic of psychological ethics is required by several professional associations abroad, especially in the last years of undergraduate studies. Their goal is to supervise the quality and preparation of future psychologists. The university textbook Do I Have It or Not: Ethics in Psychological Practice provides a summary of essential information on the ethics of conducting psychological practice, the boundaries of the relationship with the client, and the rules of confidentiality. The goal is not for the student, as a future psychologist, to know ethical rules word for word, but for them to be sufficiently ethically sensitive.

The scientific monograph is the output of the Care4Youth project, which aimed to map the current system of care for adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems (EBP) in Slovakia. It captures what the care system is and what its possible shortcomings are from the perspective of all those affected (adolescents with problems, their parents, care providers and other institutions involved).

It also looks at the trajectory of adolescents with EBP in the care system, i.e. when and how adolescents with problems enter and leave the care system, or pass from one type of care to another and what impact different trajectories have on them.

Last but not least, the aim of the monograph was to provide expert information on what are the risk and protective factors that will affect their success in the care system or, conversely, that threaten them. All this in order to support the proposal for improvements in the care system that would benefit all stakeholders.

Cardiovascular diseases are among the main causes of morbidity and mortality in developed countries. Academic textbook: Selected Chapters from Angiology is devoted to the most common vascular diseases that the angiologist encounters on a daily basis.

Dilated artery diseases (abdominal aortic aneurysm), as well as stenotizing diseases of peripheral arteries, are described. Diseases such as deep vein thrombosis, thrombophlebitis and chronic venous insufficiency are discussed in the venous vascular system section. I also deal with the most common lymphatic vascular system disease ˗ lymphoedema.

In the individual chapters the risk factors of the diseases, symptoms and signs, diagnostics, treatment modalities (pharmacological therapy, endovascular therapy, angiosurgical therapy) and possible complications of the therapy are briefly analyzed.

My priority was to present the information in a logical, interesting and comprehensible form for students and for common clinical practice.
