Collection of contributions from the international scientific conference was created as part of the international scientific conference entitled "Administrative law without borders" held on October 19 and 20, 2023 in Tokaj in connection with the solution of the scientific project entitled "Extraterritorial effects of foreign administrative decisions in the conditions of the European Union " supported by a grant from the Scientific Grant Agency under no. 01/187/2022. The main goal of the mentioned project is the scientific investigation of the extraterritorial impact of administrative decisions of the member states of the European Union on the territory of other member states for the purpose of knowledge as well as the subsequent assessment of the need and extent of harmonization of the legislation of the member states of the European Union, perceiving the growing necessity of increasing the degree of free movement of administrative decisions in the conditions of the European of the Union. As part of the research project, an international scientific conference was held under the title "Administrative Law without Borders". At the conference, contributions were presented by members of the investigative team, who are also members of the Department of Constitutional Law and Administrative Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Pavel Jozef Šafárik in Košice, as well as their colleagues from all over Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. The main goal of the conference was the presentation and confrontation of knowledge in the field of cross-border effects of administrative acts (primarily in the conditions of the European Union), perceiving the increasingly increasing globalization of law, as a result of which it is no longer possible to perceive national law separately, but in mutual contexts with the legal systems of other states , or with the right of transnational, or international organizations, as well as obligations arising for individual states from concluded international agreements. Individual sections and blocks of the conference also corresponded to this goal, within which not only knowledge from positive-legal disciplines, but also knowledge of a theoretical-legal and historical-legal nature was heard.

Within the project APVV-16-0160 "Tax evasion and tax avoidance (motivation factors , formation and elimination)" was organized conference called III. SLOVAK-CZECH DAYS OF TAX LAW " Positive and Negative Stimulation of the State in the Area of Taxation ". From this conference was prepared the eponymous output in the form of reviewed proceedings of scientific works.

In this publication is published the contributions from several prominent personalities of tax law science in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. lndividual contributions map tax legislation and also changes due to the development of tax legislation , especially under the influence of European Union law. Th ese changes are approached in the context of their specific economic impacts and their impact on status and legal relations in the business and social field . The main topics elaborated in the individual contributions are in particular: EU activities in relation to tax fraud and tax evasion, the impact of tax construction on the act of the addressees of tax law and tax policy of the state and its economic impacts.

The publication presents one of the most actual topics in the current legal and economic environment.

The presented publication is the proceedings of the international conference held on 29.-30. September 2022 in Košice as an output of the grant project APVV-19-0419. The ambition of the project is to try to reconcile legal and general historians from Slovakia and Hungary in the difficult topic of looking at the Treaty of Trianon from 1920. The conference, held on 29.-30. September 2022 was the third in a series of conferences that for the purpose of assisting in the achievement of said goal. It was attended by legal historians and positive lawyers from several Central European countries. So let the collection serve as another step towards understanding between nations.

The aim of the current monograph is to provide comprehensive view of the status of regional judicial organs in current conditions of regionalism. Based on selected issues examined in individual chapters research team presents the comprehensive study focused on clarification of the status and significance of regional judicial organs in terms of new regionalism. Research of the role of regional courts in the system of peaceful settlement of disputes demonstrates the significant role of the regional courts within the promotion of the rule of law, regional integration and also significant role of regional courts to ensure legal certainty within the system of compliance with decisions of regional courts. The result of examination of possibilities of individuals to access to regional judicial organs is comparative evaluation of regional possibilities of individual to defend his/her rights within regional courts of various regions. Particular part of this area is the right to an effective remedy and to a fair trial as basic rights within the proceedings of regional judicial organs. Within the examination of preliminary rulings of international regional courts of different regions the role of regional judicial organs in the process of effective implementation of the principle of the rule of law was the subject of examination. For the proper functioning of the regional judicial organs as well as independence of judges and legal certainty in International law, the ethical rules of international judicial organs and tribunals, which are the subject of the last chapter, are significant.

The concept of a transterritorial administrative act is relatively new in administrative law, especially in the conditions of the Slovak Republic. It has practical applicability to the application of European Union law (including international law). Its essence lies in the fact that the effects of such an administrative act issued within one Member State exceed the territory of that Member State, have effects in other Member States, in all Member States of the European Union without being subject to the recognition process.

The purpose of the monograph is to present outputs of the scientific examination of this type of administrative acts, the definition of its characteristics and its effects, the examination of the possibilities of procedural defense against its effects by the State concerned, and possibly the possibility of unifying the action of the Member States of the European Union in case of procedural defense against the effects of transterritorial administrative acts. The monograph also contains analysis of certain types of transterrritorial administrative acts that are commonly used in the conditions of the European union and Slovak republic; they are also categorized under specific criteria.,

The present monograph deals with the post-war settlement of relations and peace negotiations related to the settlement of the borders of the newly established Czechoslovak Republic. The work discusses in detail the negotiation processes related to the preparation and signing of the Versailles and Saint-Germain Peace Treaties. Similarly, it then discusses in detail the peripeties related to the drafting of the Treaty of Trianon dealing with the border with Hungary and its subsequent delineation in the field. Last but not least, the thesis captures the settling of Czechoslovakia's international relations with Poland and their common border, with a particular focus on the arbitration settlement on the territory of Orava and Spiš.

Napriek tomu je dnes lietanie a cestovanie do kozmu bežnou súčasťou ľudskej civilizácie. Aká je úloha práva v tomto procese? To je otázka, ktorú si položili organizátori VII. ročníka študentského sympózia z medzinárodného práva sledujúc ambíciu zhodnotiť prínos medzinárodného práva v oblasti letectva a kozmických letov najmä vo svetle aktuálneho vývoja. Jednotlivých tém sa zhostili študenti druhého, tretieho, ale aj vyšších ročníkov Právnickej fakulty UPJŠ v Košiciach. Výsledkom ich práce na zverených témach, ktoré mohli autori konzultovať s členmi Ústavu európskeho práva a oddelenia medzinárodného práva, je predkladané dielo. Zborník je tematicky rozdelený na dve časti. Prvá časť oboznámi čitateľa s vybranými témami súvisiacimi s leteckým právom a druhá časť je venovaná medzinárodnému kozmickému právu. Svojim zameraním má zborník aj širší dosah, keďže v niektorých aspektoch zapadá do širšieho kontextu výskumu, ktorý prebieha na Ústave európskeho práva a oddelení medzinárodného práva a ktorý sa zameriava na skúmanie vplyvu regionalizmu na všeobecné medzinárodné právo a vice versa. Túto problematiku odrážajú aj témy jednotlivých príspevkov.

The Student Symposium on International and European Law has its traditional place in the calendar of events at the Faculty of Law of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. In the academic year 2019/2020, the Institute of International Law and European Law decided to continue this tradition and offer students an opportunity to present their professional opinions on selected topics and problematic issues of international and European law.

The XIII. edition of the student symposium continued from its previous year and once again focused students' attention on the institutions of international and European law depicted in films. The films processed by the participants of the symposium offer a wide range of institutions of international and European law.

In their contributions, participants addressed issues related to diplomatic law, terrorism, armed conflicts, the use of robots, environmental protection, and questions regarding the legal regime of outer space.

This university textbook named "The World History of State and Law" serve as teaching aid to Students of 1. year-class of Faculty of Law. He addicted to history of state and law of oriental despoties and chosen states of ancient Greece. Exactly interpreted the law history of medieval and feudal states and cities and institutes of medieval law with the accent to civil law. Next he interpreted the history of constitutions of the european states (Netherland, Poland, Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy) and USA, also the modern law of 19. Century. A special chapter deals with the Paris Peace Conference in 1919 and the system of treaties adopted during it.

At the end he interpreted the legal history of chosen states of Europe and USA - state system with the accent to type of the regime (democracy, dictature).

Od 1. januára 1969 nadobúdali účinnosť Ústavný zákon o postavení národností v Československej socialistickej republike (ČSSR) i Ústavný zákon o federácii. Ústavný zákon o postavení národností predstavoval aspoň formálne veľký posun v právnej úprave postavenia menšín. Tento zákon však mal byť základom pre ďalšiu právnu úpravu. Deklarovalo sa, že budú nasledovať ďalšie kroky a rokovania o prijatí vykonávacích noriem a že budú na federálnej i národných úrovniach prijaté ďalšie zákony. V Československu však nebol nikdy vydaný žiadny ďalší zákon alebo vládne nariadenie týkajúce sa ústavného zákona o postavení národností v ČSSR. V období normalizácie1 sa otázky týkajúce sa ďalšej legislatívy týkajúcej sa národnostných menšín neotvárali, ale v krátkom období po prijatí ústavného zákona v roku 1968 do konca roka 1969 sa niektoré inštitúcie pokúšali takéto zákonné normy pripraviť a presadiť. Jednou z nich bola aj Rada vlády SSR pre národnosti (ďalej Rada alebo Rada vlády pre národnosti). Monografia prináša pohľad na problematiku rozpracovania ďalších zákonných noriem vyplývajúcich z ústavného zákona o postavení národností v Slovenskej socialistickej republike Radou vlády SSR pre národnosti, ktorá bola jednou z inštitúcií, ktoré sa na Slovensku vytvorili po vzniku československej federácie a zaoberali sa národnostnou problematikou

Vpráci zameranej na rozpracovanie ďalších zákonných noriem vyplývajúcich z ústavného zákona o postavení národností v ČSSR bolo potrebné venovať sa aj predchádzajúcemu vývoju, preto sa prvá časť monografie zaoberá postavením menšín v Československu pred prijatím ústavného zákona, aktivitám národností predchádzajúcim prijatiu ústavného zákona o postavení národností a samotnému prijatiu zákona. V ďalších častiach sa už monografia venuje inštitucionálnym zmenám v SSR po vzniku federácie, vzniku Rady vlády SSR pre národnosti a jednotlivým krokom Rady a jej odborných orgánov pri príprave návrhov zákonov o postavení národností v Slovenskej socialistickej republike.
Motiváciou pre napísanie tejto monografie bola skutočnosť, že na Slovensku sa doteraz tejto problematike venovala pozornosť len v niekoľkých štúdiách, ktoré sa zaoberali maďarskou menšinou a obdobím pražskej jari alebo maďarskou menšinou v období normalizácie.

Proceedings of the international scientific conference held on April 13-14, 2023, organized by the Department of History of State and Law, Faculty of Law, University of Pavel Jozef Šafárik in Košice. The presented collection provides a summary of scientific works from the last international conference dealing with the issue of the Trianon Peace Treaty and the negotiations during the peace conference after 1918. The collection contains scientific contributions from members of the research team of the APVV 19-0419 project, as well as other experts from the field of legal history. Through their contributions, they offer an insight into the complex processes of the formation of Europe after the First World War. They approximate the essential and relatively complicated processes of negotiations on important issues of the post-war arrangement and the further direction of individual countries. Contributions of foreign legal historians, which bring an alternative view of the examined issue, are a stimulating contribution to the collection. The anthology includes scientific studies related to the investigated issue, often with an overlap with the present. The collection also includes scientific contributions with positive legal topics. The collection in the presented form is thus primarily intended for readers from the professional public. Last but not least, it can interest the lay public interested in the issue of the post-war arrangement and Slovak-Hungarian relations.

The Proceedings presents papers from international scientific conference The Employees health care held on 6th and 8th June 2018 in High Tatras and is published as a partial outcome of the implementation of the project APVV-16- 0002 - Mental Health in the Workplace and Employee Health Assessment.

Pri hodnotení informačného veku sa ťažko uhýba streľbe fráz. Moderné technológie, internet, smartfóny, komunikačná technológia, či sociálne siete zmenili rytmus života na nepoznanie a svojim dosahom prekvapili aj samotných tvorcov. Možno takéto strohé hodnotenie znie až priveľmi povedome, snáď ako mnohokrát vyslovená fráza, ale je vskutku pravdivé. Rýchlo, obratom, hneď. ASAP. Heslá dnešnej doby. Pracovný život nevynímajúc. Namiesto uľahčenia práce a možnosti zosúladenia pracovného a rodinného života, čo je stále nenaplneným snom modelu flexikurity, moderné technológie prepletajú voľný čas s tým pracovným a nedokážu ich od seba oddeliť. Zamestnávateľ prostredníctvom emailu kladie požiadavky na neustálu online zapojenosť, z jeho pohľadu odpoveď možno zaberie iba pár minút, ale pripravený máme byť takmer vždy. Výsledkom je nezdravý, nadmerný, ba neustály stres. Stres sa stal takým fenoménom nového pracovného sveta, že mladí uchádzači o prácu sa vzájomne predbiehajú v tom, že práve oni vedia pracovať pod stresom, bez obáv zvládajú stresové situácie, dokonca majú stres radi, vyhľadávajú ho a túžia v stresovom prostredí pracovať. Nuž, nevedia, nezvládajú a netúžia ... ak, iba dočasne.

Nové stresové faktory sú predmetom skúmania nielen prírodných vied, najmä medicíny, ale aj humanitných vedných odborov, vrátane psychológie a práva. Autor tohto predhovoru s potešením konštatuje, že viacerí odborníci z týchto tieto zdanlivo vzdialených odborov sa stretli na spoločnej konferencii pod gesciou grantovej úlohy APVV-16-0002 Duševné zdravie na pracovisku a posudzovanie zdravotnej spôsobilosti zamestnanca a vzájomne si vymieňali poznatky a myšlienky. Vzájomná interdisciplinárna interakcia sa stáva základom pre nové poňatie problematiky a inšpiratívne metódy skúmania.

Zborník predstavuje výsledky prednesov prezentovaných na spoločnej konferencii s názvom Starostlivosť o zdravie zamestnancov, ktorá sa konala v dňoch 6. až 8. júna 2018 v Hornom Smokovci, vo Vysokých Tatrách. Veríme, že jeho obsah zaujme a podnieti i vás, čitateľov.
