Vysokoškolská učebnica Trestné právo hmotné – osobitná časť, 3. aktualizované vydanie bezprostredne nadväzuje na učebnicu Trestné právo hmotné – všeobecnú časť. Autorský kolektív rozoberá skutkové podstaty trestných činov zahrnuté do dvanástich hláv. Autori si za cieľ stanovili poskytnúť čitateľom podrobný prehľad o jednotlivých trestných činoch a zároveň poskytnúť i čo najpodrobnejší výklad jednotlivých skutkových podstát těchto trestných činov, ako aj výklad pojmov v nich sa nachádzajúcich. Obsah jednotlivých kapitol vychádza zo systematiky osobitnej časti Trestného zákona, čím sa študenti ako aj ostatná právnická veřejnost môžu lepšie orientovať v základných trestno-hmotných inštitútoch. V jednotlivých kapitolách sú zrozumiteľne a jasne vymedzené jednotlivé obligatórne znaky skutkových podstát trestných činov a ich súvislosti. Tam, kde je to potrebné, autori uvádzajú na vysvetlenie svoje teoretické a praktické skúsenosti a tiež v prípade bližšieho vysvetlenia aj aktuálnu súdnu prax. V rámci každej hlavy je uvedená všeobecná charakteristika príslušnej hlavy a dielu, do ktorého sa subsumuje konkrétny trestný čin. Učebnica je určená predovšetkým poslucháčom právnických fakúlt a Akadémie Policajného zboru. Učebnicu však môžu využívať aj sudcovia, prokurátori, policajti, advokáti, vyšší súdni úradníci, čakatelia prokuratúry, advokátski koncipienti pri rozbore a zdôvodnení mnohých ustanovení osobitnej časti Trestného zákona. Táto učebnica je určená aj pre široký okruh záujemcov o trestné právo.

The ambition of the project is to try to reconcile legal and general historians from Slovakia and Hungary in the difficult topic of looking at the Treaty of Trianon from 1920. The conference, held on 29.-30. September 2022 was the third in a series of conferences that for the purpose of assisting in the achievement of said goal. It was attended by legal historians and positive lawyers from several Central European countries. So let the collection serve as another step towards understanding between nations.

Proceedings of Papers of XVIth year of the student symposium of the Institute of International Law and European Law is devoted to selected aspects of the place and role of criminal law from the point of view of contemporary EU law and international law. In their contributions, students deal with current topics of criminal law in the law of the European Union and international law. In the EU law, the most actual issue is the European Public Prosecutor's Office, a body of the EU responsible for investigateing and prosecuting criminal offenses affecting the Union's financial interests.

The first part of papers dealt with the reasons for the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor's Office, its structure and tasks, the issue of conducting the investigation of the European Public Prosecutor's Office in the conditions of the Slovak Republic, as well as with the relations of the European Public Prosecutor's Office with its closest partner, the European Anti-Fraud Office.

The second part of the contributions reflects current issues and challenges of criminal law in international law. Authors in their papers focused on the issue of the International Criminal Tribunal for Ukraine, the legal problems and challenges associated with its creation, on the issue of the crime of aggression before the International Criminal Court, as well as on issues of immunity of state representatives before national courts.

The Student Symposium is regularly organized by the Institute of International Law and European Law, and in 2017, it marked the jubilee tenth edition of the symposium, which over time expanded its focus to include European law.

The tradition of holding student symposia is also associated with the good practice of preparing proceedings from each event. Understandably, the tenth edition is no exception, and thus, the tenth edition of the symposium proceedings is now available to readers. In previous years, the symposium has always focused on specific areas of international and European law. Thus, the subjects of study for symposium participants have included migration issues (2016), the protection of cultural values (2015), and the challenges of cyberspace (2013).

This year, given that it is the jubilee tenth edition, the symposium organizers have chosen to approach the symposium's focus thematically and recall some significant milestones in the development of international law that occurred in years ending with the number seven.

Methodological guide for teachers for classroom lessons and civics Teaching law experientially? Is it even possible? The answers to these questions are provided by a methodological guide that uniquely links experiential learning methods with legal content. This methodological guide is a set of techniques based on the use of interactive and participatory learning methods, focusing on selected human rights and value-oriented topics, which also have the potential to develop other key competences of students, such as their communication skills, their ability to learn and educate independently, their ability to think critically, their ability to work with and analyse texts, their ability to discuss and express their opinions, and their ability to listen to each other. The methodological guide consists of a set of training activities - techniques, while each technique contains a precise description of the procedure for conducting a specific activity, the expected duration of the activity, aids, discussion topics and also a short pedagogical and legal commentary, precisely "tailored" to the specific legal topic. The legal topics are chosen to be generally applicable to both classroom and civics lessons, to raise questions about the functioning of rules and the need to respect them, mutual respect and tolerance, and to encourage reflection on the limits of individual rights and on responsibility in exercising one's rights. The techniques use training methods such as group work, brainstorming, role-playing, dealing with model situations, as well as a simulated court process. The methodological guide is intended for classroom teachers in the implementation of classroom lessons, and also for the purposes of the subject of civics, as well as for students of pedagogy at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice.

Collection of contributions from the international scientific conference was created as part of the international scientific conference entitled "Administrative law without borders" held on October 19 and 20, 2023 in Tokaj in connection with the solution of the scientific project entitled "Extraterritorial effects of foreign administrative decisions in the conditions of the European Union " supported by a grant from the Scientific Grant Agency under no. 01/187/2022. The main goal of the mentioned project is the scientific investigation of the extraterritorial impact of administrative decisions of the member states of the European Union on the territory of other member states for the purpose of knowledge as well as the subsequent assessment of the need and extent of harmonization of the legislation of the member states of the European Union, perceiving the growing necessity of increasing the degree of free movement of administrative decisions in the conditions of the European of the Union. As part of the research project, an international scientific conference was held under the title "Administrative Law without Borders". At the conference, contributions were presented by members of the investigative team, who are also members of the Department of Constitutional Law and Administrative Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Pavel Jozef Šafárik in Košice, as well as their colleagues from all over Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. The main goal of the conference was the presentation and confrontation of knowledge in the field of cross-border effects of administrative acts (primarily in the conditions of the European Union), perceiving the increasingly increasing globalization of law, as a result of which it is no longer possible to perceive national law separately, but in mutual contexts with the legal systems of other states , or with the right of transnational, or international organizations, as well as obligations arising for individual states from concluded international agreements. Individual sections and blocks of the conference also corresponded to this goal, within which not only knowledge from positive-legal disciplines, but also knowledge of a theoretical-legal and historical-legal nature was heard.

Štvrté, doplnené a rozšírené vydanie koncepčne nadväzuje na doterajšie vydania a najmä sa nedotýka častí autorsky spracovaných Karolom Rebrom. Rozšírená je piata časť učebnice zameraná obsahovo na inštitúty vecného práva. Podstatným spôsobom je doplnený výklad o vecnom práve v celej jeho šírke vložením drobných úvah týkajúcich sa základných otázok rímskeho súkromného práva v oblasti vecnoprávnych vzťahov (ius in re). Miestami ide o nové spracovanie, miestami o rozšírenie poznatkov z danej matérie. V konkrétnostiach sa zväčšil rozsah v náuke o veciach (druhové a individuálne veci, prípadne zastupiteľné a nezastupiteľné veci), v náuke o držbe je novonačrtnutý problém držby ako faktu a držby ako práva, otázka „dobromyseľnej“ držby a rozšírenie výkladu o ochrane držby (interdiktná ochrana, posesórny a petitórny spor). V časti o vlastníckom práve došlo k precizovaniu druhov vlastníckeho práva, rozšírený je výklad o pôvodných spôsoboch nadobudnutia vlastníckeho práva, čím sa stal prehľadnejším. V náuke o vydržaní je upresnený problém dobromyseľnosti. Osobitnú pozornosť si zaslúžil výklad o tradícii doplnený o nové dôležité skutočnosti. Prepracovaný je ďalej výklad o reivindicatio a o postavení procesných strán v tomto súdnom spore, takisto aj actio negatoria a actio Publiciana. Úplne novým je zapracovanie pojmu vecné práva k cudzej veci (iura in re aliena) najmä v porovnaní s vlastníckym právom (iura in repropria). V náuke o záložnom práve sa zmeny týkajú podstaty a účelu rímskeho záložného práva, rozšírený je výklad o fidúcii a právnom postavení záložného veriteľa a záložného dlžníka k založenej veci. Napokon pribudol register latinských právnych pravidiel uvedených v texte učebnice.

Nowadays, in the modern 21st century, we have a much more complex society than the ancient one. It requires legal regulation of various types of purchase contracts, where although the basic feature remains, it needs to be specified further, and the simple sentence 'I sell, you buy' needs to be supplemented with conditions 'how, where, when, under what conditions?' This is the task of modern civil law. The current recodification of civil law has already taken place in some European countries, and it is currently underway in our country. Therefore, it is important to meet at conferences with colleagues from these countries and exchange knowledge, to discuss their experiences, avoid the bad, and accept or adjust the good according to our conditions.

This proceedings is the output publication from the conference held on September 26-27, 2014 in Košice. It was the second conference with the participation of the most prominent legal Romanists, legal historians, and civilists from home and abroad. The proceedings is the result of unique cooperation among experts from various fields of legal science. I believe that the published outputs will help to understand the institute of purchase contracts from all its aspects and will become an inspiration for both experts and laypeople.

The general part addresses the historical development of international law but primarily focuses on the protection of individuals and responsibility relationships in international law. The special part then examines the international regulation of various institutions of international law.

We acknowledge that this selection offers room for expansion, but we believe it meets basic requirements and fills a certain gap in the study of international law.

We trust that this collection of public international law materials will be beneficial for students, and not only for them, in the study of public international law and will contribute to raising awareness in this field.

In 2020 and 2021, the tradition of holding the Law – Business – Economics conference was exceptionally interrupted due to the unprecedented situation associated with the spread of Covid-19. This year, the situation allows us to restore the tradition of our Tatra conference and, after two years, to once again meet in person with our traditional domestic and international participants. At the same time, we look forward to welcoming participants who are attending our conference for the first time (and we hope it will not be the last).

Komentár zákona o katastri nehnuteľnosti a zápise vlastníckych a iných práv k nehnuteľnostiam, teda katastrálneho zákona, platného v Slovenskej republike je doplnený komentárom o porovnateľnej právnej úprave platnej v Českej republike. Tento komparatistický prístup umožňuje čitateľovi rozšíriť si znalosti z pozemkového práva o českú právnu úpravu a umožňuje aj dôslednejšie pochopenie a výklad jednotlivých právnych inštitútov upravených v platnom katastrálnom zákone. Pri jednotlivých ustanoveniach sú uvedené judikáty a to ako zo súdov v Slovenskej republike tak aj z Českej republiky. Na viacerých miestach je komentár doplnený o názory Úradu geodézie, kartografie a katastra SR uverejnené v Bulletine, ktorý tento úrad vydáva. Publikácia obsahuje aj vyhlášku, ktorou sa vykonáva katastrálny zákon a vyhlášku, ktorou sa vydáva Spravovací poriadok pre katastrálne úrady a správy katastra. V závere je uvedený stručný výklad o nadobúdaní vlastníckeho práva v Maďarsku.
