Kniha v unikátní česko-anglické mutaci nabízí rychlou orientaci v oboru cévní chirurgie pomocí schémat, algoritmů a piktogramů u nejčastějších cévních chirurgických diagnóz. Jde o přehledného průvodce cévní chirurgií, který pomůže čtenáři s rychlou orientací v často velmi závažných stavech, jež vyžadují neodkladné řešení a odeslání pacienta na specializované pracoviště.


Monografie je přehledná, s krátkým, výstižným textem a řadou didaktických schémat. Zastoupeny jsou nejčastější a nejzávažnější diagnózy – stenóza karotických tepen, embolie do tepen horních i dolních končetin, aneuryzmata, střevní ischemie, kompartment syndrom, varixy, cévní uzávěry a další.

Každá diagnóza je doplněna kazuistikou pro pochopení onemocnění v klinickém kontextu. Kniha je založena na aktuálních doporučeních ESVS.

Kniha je především pomocníkem pro otázky z cévní chirurgie pro chirurgickou atestaci a státní zkoušku z chirurgie, a to i pro anglicky hovořící zájemce. Je určena pro studující lékařských fakult, pro všeobecné chirurgy zejména v ambulancích, praktické lékaře, angiology, ale i pro cévní chirurgy k rychlé orientaci v doporučených postupech pro diagnostiku a léčbu.

Zpracování v češtině a angličtině využijí zejména studenti medicíny a postgraduální studenti ze zahraničí. Ocení je i lékaři vyjíždějící do zahraničí a lékaři připravující své prezentace v angličtině.

The papers published in this proceedings support the research part of the investigators of the scientific project with their content. At the same time, they create a professional and scientific diapasone for further investigation and creation of scientific hypotheses.

The current development of applied ethics globally suggests that applied ethics is entering a new, qualitatively distinct era of innovative application approaches, methodologies, and methods, as well as novel educational formats. The application levels in applied ethics (in bioethics, business ethics, technology ethics, professional ethics, etc.) are tied to critical reflection on previous strategies and methodologies in their teaching.

Combining ethical rationality with practical variability and implementing ethical policies and tools in concrete practice truly demands new competencies, new skills, and the ability to work in novel ways with empirical and normative frameworks. This requires working with ethical theory and moral practice inventively, heuristically, innovatively, and propedeutically.

The creation of useful and professionally constructed procedures and formats is part of the professional and academic preparation of applied ethicists at modern departments of applied ethics.
