Z hľadiska štruktúry a obsahových náležitostí reflektuje požiadavky, ktoré sú požadované pre účely postupových skúšok a štátnej skúšky na Právnickej fakulte a Fakulte verejnej správy Univerzity Pavla Jozefa Šafárika v Košiciach. Rovnako, je využiteľným zdrojom informácií aj pre potreby štúdia na iných právnických fakultách v rámci Slovenskej republiky. V neposlednom rade, môže byť vhodnou pomôckou i pre aplikačnú prax, a to tak na orgánoch verejnej správy, na súdoch, ako aj pre advokátov prichádzajúcich do styku so správnym konaním.

The textbook provides a clear view of the importance of respiratory care, with an emphasis on prevention and treatment procedures. The introductory chapters present the anatomical and physiological principles of respiratory function necessary for understanding further contexts of the issue. Methods for facilitating expectoration of mucus and foreign bodies are explained. Great emphasis is placed on correct procedures for humidifying and warming the inhaled mixture, including the basics of aerosol therapy. This is an issue that is particularly important in invasive, but also non-invasive methods of ventilation therapy. The work also contains more detailed physical justifications for the explained principles. From a practical perspective, the chapters that draw attention to frequent errors in the use of humidification and aerosol technologies are also important. The texts are supplemented with many illustrative original images and explanations.

The textbook is intended primarily for doctors, nurses and physiotherapists working in the fields of anaesthesiology and intensive care, emergency medicine, in all workplaces that are dedicated to the treatment and care of patients with respiratory problems, such as pneumology, internal medicine, surgical units treating patients in the postoperative period. Last but not least, it is also an excellent supplementary study material for medical students, nursing students and paramedics.

The work "Case Studies in Administrative Law" is an extensive and practice-oriented publication primarily intended for students of law faculties and universities with a focus on public administration. Its main objective is to deepen the reader’s knowledge in various areas of administrative law through specific case studies, with an emphasis on the application of legal norms in real-life situations. The publication consists of 20 thematically organized chapters that cover a wide range of administrative agendas, such as internal administration, trade licensing, environmental protection, healthcare, transportation, education, justice, and national defense.

Each chapter contains multiple casuistic cases, in which the reader encounters practical problems and must assess the legality of administrative procedures, the substantive and territorial jurisdiction of public authorities, and the application of relevant legal regulations. The case studies are presented systematically—beginning with a factual scenario, followed by a legal analysis based on applicable legislation.

Vysokoškolská učebnica „Lekárska biológia a genetika“ poskytuje v zrozumiteľnej podobe teoretické základy bunkovej biológie, molekulovej biológie a genetiky. Obsahuje najnovšie poznatky z relevantných odborov doplnené názornými obrázkami, tabuľkami a grafmi. Prehľadne členené kapitoly zoznámia študentov s problematikou bunkovej biológie, procesov molekulovej biológie a zákonitosťami genetiky. Slovak for Dentists is a textbook intended for international dental students preparing to communicate professionally in Slovak in a real dental environment. The second, expanded and revised edition is the result of several years of practical use and feedback from students. In terms of content and structure, the textbook focuses on developing all language skills, with particular emphasis on understanding spoken language and oral communication in dentist–patient interactions. The textbook contains 14 lessons, including two review test lessons, as well as a Slovak–English dictionary, an answer key, and six appendices. Compared to the first edition, this version includes updated dialogues in audio format, new texts, revised exercises, and a redesigned layout. The vocabulary is specifically focused on the field of dentistry and the most frequent communication situations in a dental office. The textbook reflects different levels of students’ Slovak language proficiency and also offers additional texts for more advanced learners. The lessons include grammar boxes with practical explanations for learners of Slovak as a foreign language.
