On May 25 -28. 2026, Stará Lesná will host the 12th year of the university-wide event ‘Spring School of Doctoral Students of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice’. As part of the professional program, there will be six plenary lectures by prominent experts from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice and two workshops will be held. A total of 49 full-time doctoral students will present the results of their scientific research work, of which 21 doctoral students in the section of medical and natural sciences (Faculty of Medicine/Faculty of Science) and 28 doctoral students in the section of social sciences and humanities (Faculty of Law/Faculty of Public Administration/Faculty of Arts).

The scientific textbook in the form of an electronic interactive publication is intended for university students who are interested in an interdisciplinary view of taxation in the context of linking the basic theoretical knowledge in the field of law and economics related to taxation with an emphasis on application practice. The content of the textbook primarily covers general theoretical knowledge in the field of taxation in terms of their historical creation and characteristics in the scope of the legal and economic framework of tax system in general, as well as that currently applied in the Slovak Republic.

The textbook also includes pictures and graphs (listed in the appendix), which interactively complement the text part, as well as a set of questions in (in the context of the scope of particular chapters), whose task is to contribute to the fulfilment of didactic goals of the textbook.

Communication is a significant and integral part of human existence. It also plays an important role in individual organizations, whether of a production or non-production nature. Without communication, it would not be possible to manage these organizations and achieve the set goals.

The aim of the scripts was to address the issue of communication and apply it to public administration organizations. The scripts begin by elaborating on the topic of information, which is an essential component of every communication process. The content of subsequent chapters focuses on the objectives and tasks of communication within an organization, various types of communication, barriers that may arise in communication, strategies for improving communication effectiveness in an organization, and specific communication strategies regularly encountered in different organizations.

Emphasis is also placed on the communication skills of managers, without which they would not be able to effectively manage the organization and lead their subordinates toward achieving organizational goals.

Predkladaný učebný text predstavuje základný sumár informácií z gymnastiky, ktorý je v súlade s výchovno - vzdelávacím procesom. Svojím obsahom je zameraný na osvojenie základov gymnastických športov s dôrazom na problematiku športovej gymnastiky, terminológie, histórie, pravidiel, výberu talentov a problematiku motorického učenia. Tretia časť práce objasňuje výber talentov a predikciu výkonnosti na základe vlastných mnohoročných praktických skúseností a výskumov v tejto oblasti. Záverečná časť práce je zameraná na základy športovej prípravy, techniku a didaktiku základných cvičebných tvarov na jednotlivých náradiach a základy hodnotenia v športovej gymnastike.
