The publication Environmental Attitudes, Behavior, and Their Promotion is a collection of scientific papers and a partial output of the VEGA 1/0764/24 project Environmental Attitudes, Pro-Environmental Behavior, and Its Promotion. Taking an interdisciplinary approach, it explores environmental attitudes and behavior, their interrelationships, and how individuals respond to the consequences of climate change. The individual studies focus on the environmental attitudes and behavior of college students, generational differences in climate change adaptation strategies, the links between gender attitudes and climate responsibility, and issues of environmental justice issues. The papers use various research methods and data sources to examine these issues at local and societal levels. The collection has been curated for experts, researchers, and other readers interested in the social context of environmental problems and climate change.
