This monograph aimed to determine the level of awareness and meeting of recommendations regarding the implementation of physical activity in selected chronic disease risk groups in eastern Slovakia. We were also interested in the role of physicians and healthcare staff in terms of recommending physical activity during the patients´ treatment and meeting these recommendations by the patients.

The presented cross-sectional study, conducted on selected chronic disease patients, found that most patients are aware of the importance of physical activity in the treatment of their conditions. We also found that almost half of the patients obtained only general information on the importance of PA. One-third of the patients was provided very detailed information. The majority of the patients in this study had sufficient information on the minimum requirements for PA - frequency, duration, intensity and were familiar with effective physical exercises in the prevention and treatment of their conditions.

These results underline the importance of education and awareness of a healthy lifestyle, inherently including physical activity, not only for the healthy population, but also for  people at risk of such diseases that do not prevent them from performing physical activity.

Given the importance of the ownership right, the aim of this monograph is to provide an analysis, a clear systematic interpretation and an evaluation of the above issue, not only from the theoretical point of view, but also from the point of view of legal practice. The protection of ownership relations is ensured in various ways. It is judicial protection, protection provided by local self-government authorities, self-help, public registration of real property and other instruments of administrative and criminal law. In connection with the transformation of legislation in Slovakia and Poland after the fall of the socialist regime, there have been many changes in the legislation of both countries concerning the protection of ownership rights. A number of private law institutions related to the ownership of real property, the use of which was impossible or limited during the socialist period, have been restored. Legislation has also been adopted to alleviate the consequences of certain property and other injustices caused by the deprivation of ownership of real property during the socialist period. The adoption of restitution legislation was the basis for restoring the ownership rights of the original owners, who were allowed to get back their real property that had been used by socialist organisations. After the end of the socialist regime, the various forms of ownership, which until then had favoured the state ownership, were abolished. Changes were made to ensure that the ownership rights of all owners had the same content and enjoyed the same legal protection. The monograph is structured in such a way as to enable a comparison of individual institutions of rights in rem under Polish and Slovak law. The monograph also analyses the relevant decision-making practice of the supreme judicial authorities. The scientific methods applied enabled the authors not only to analyse and evaluate the historical context and the current legal regulation of ownership rights in Poland and Slovakia, but also to point out possible gaps and shortcomings and to elaborate de lege ferenda proposals that can be used in future legislative activity.

Slovenská odborná literatura v oblasti dětské chirurgie se v posledních letech dynamicky prosazuje mnoha výbornými publikacemi, ke kterým se úspěšně řadí i „ Moderné trendy v detských chirurgických oborech“ profesora MUDr. Milana Draguly PhD. Velkoryse a precizně pojaté dílo, na základě bohatých celoživotních zkušeností významného představitele současné slovenské dětské chirurgie tak navazuje na skvělý počin profesora Jaroslava Simana v jeho Princípoch chirurgie, ke kterým se autor a hlavní editor s úctou hlásí. Publikace je svými více jak tisíci stranami obsáhlá, ale je čtivá a přitahuje pozornost čtenáře přehledným rozdělením tematiky i jednotlivých kapitol a svým obsahem. Kniha poskytuje potřebné vědomosti z mnoha dalších oborů, které s dětskou chirurgii úzce spolupracují a jejichž znalost je pro dobrého dětského chirurga nezbytná. Autor a jeho spolupracovníci předkládají veškeré informace z každé části oboru na základě Evidence Based Medicine a vhodně je spojují s historickým pohledem. Poskytují tak ucelený pohled na vývoj oboru a potvrzují, že název „Současné trendy“ byl vybrán správně a obsahem díla je naplněn. Každá z kapitol také jednoznačně ukazuje, že dítě není malý dospělý a dětská chirurgie má svá nepřekonatelná specifi ka. Důkazem jsou chirurgická léčba vrozených vad, fyziologické odlišnosti dětského organizmu a v neposlední řadě i rozdíly v hmotnosti jednotlivých pacientů. Dětský chirurg musí umět přizpůsobit svou chirurgickou techniku a přístupy vyvíjejícímu se dětskému organizmu a být schopen vykonat stejně zručně chirurgicky výkon u extrémně nezralých novorozenců s porodní hmotností kolem 600 g, jako u robustních adolescentů. Se stonásobným hmotnostním rozdílem, stejně jako s většinou vrozených vývojových vad se chirurg dospělého věku u svých pacientů nikdy nesetká. Moderní trend publikace lze vidět také ve výběru autorů, kde se hlavní autor nerozpakoval přizvat ke spolupráci vedle renomovaných odborníků své generace, také mladší, odborně a vědecky zdatné kolegy nejen ze Slovenska, ale i z České republiky. Jsem přesvědčen, že po předkládané publikaci se zájmem sáhnou jak chirurgové většiny oborů dětského i dospělého věku, tak i specialisté z mnoha oborů pediatrie a praktičtí lékaři pro děti a dorost.
