Moderní učebnice ošetřovatelských postupů pro studenty oboru ošetřovatelství a všeobecného lékařství využívá dostupné informace z českých i zahraničních zdrojů. Je koncipována podle stěžejního předmětu studia ošetřovatelství a svým pojetím je výbornou učební pomůckou také pro studenty všeobecného lékařství. V části I jsou uvedena základní témata ošetřovatelských postupů, na která bude navazovat další část s náročnějšími speciálními výkony a postupy. Problematika péče o nemocné s využitím moderních postupů, pomůcek a doporučení, kterou publikace zahrnuje, je studentům předkládána poutavou formou. Po jejím prostudování budou studenti schopni splnit požadavky k jejich hodnocení z tohoto předmětu.

The Foundation of the Faculty is a major “thing” created and developed by many personalities. The collected information, opinions, and critical judgements have led me to the conclusion that there exist among us plenty of narratives on the formation of this Faculty.

What is appealing about this fact is that from each party concerned, specifically teachers of Philosophy, Psychology and Education at the UPJŠ Faculty of Science, teachers of Psychology at the UPJŠ Faculty of Public Administration in Košice, teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages at UPJŠ, teachers at Prešov University who were approached with a bid to create the conditions of and opportunities for the development of their study branches at the new UPJŠ Faculty of Arts in Košice, there is a significant clue reflected in the inception of the new Faculty of this University.

It is necessary to say that it is a justifiable reflection, because without this, it would not be possible to develop exploration and offer the students courses in the field of Humanities, in social and behavioural sciences, educational sciences, and in the field of History and Ethnology.

Proceedings from the international scientific conference held on September 26-27, 2014 at the Faculty of Law, UPJŠ in Košice

Nowadays, in the modern 21st century, we have a much more complex society than the ancient one. It requires legal regulation of various types of purchase contracts, where although the basic feature remains, it needs to be specified further, and the simple sentence 'I sell, you buy' needs to be supplemented with conditions 'how, where, when, under what conditions?' This is the task of modern civil law. The current recodification of civil law has already taken place in some European countries, and it is currently underway in our country. Therefore, it is important to meet at conferences with colleagues from these countries and exchange knowledge, to discuss their experiences, avoid the bad, and accept or adjust the good according to our conditions.

This proceedings is the output publication from the conference held on September 26-27, 2014 in Košice. It was the second conference with the participation of the most prominent legal Romanists, legal historians, and civilists from home and abroad. The proceedings is the result of unique cooperation among experts from various fields of legal science. I believe that the published outputs will help to understand the institute of purchase contracts from all its aspects and will become an inspiration for both experts and laypeople.
