Plastická chirurgia je vysokošpecializovaný medicínsky odbor.

 Náplňou plastickej chirurgie je korekcia rôznych defektov,vrodených i získaných.Medzi vrodené chyby patria deformity tváre,rázštepy pery a podnebia,deformity ušnice,vrodené vývojové chyby končatín.Najčastejšie získané defekty sú po poraneniach,po chirurgických výkonoch,po fyzikálnych poškodeniach kože a štruktúr krytých kožou.

Súčasťou plastickej  chirurgie je estetická chirurgia, onkochirurgia a mikrochirurgia,  ktorá si zaslúži osobitnú pozornosť. Novými trendami v estetickej chirurgii je rekonštrukcia pomocou tukového tkaniva,kmeňových buniek,používanie rôznych umelých materiálov a implantátov.

Predložené učebné texty v jednotlivých kapitolách popisujú základné princípy plastickej chirurgie,používanie lalokových plastík a iné možnosti krytia defektov. V deviatich kapitolách sú jednotlivo popísané chirurgické možnosti rekonštrukcie tváre,trupu a  končatín.  Učebné texty venujú pozornosť malígnym  a benígnym kožným tumorom a ich liečbe.Posledná kapitola sa zaoberá najčastejšími estetickými operáciami.

In the environment of Slovak employers, an active approach to diversity and inclusion in the workplace is coming to the fore. Targeted diversity and inclusion programs help make employers more attractive on the labor market and attract more job seekers. Proactively, better working conditions are created for employees with responsibilities to the family (in most cases still in relation to mothers), groups of people who have been on the fringes of interest until now are also employed (elderly, disabled, LGBT groups, minorities, graduates of secondary and higher education schools).

The presented collection of abstracts responds to the outlined facts, which is a grouping of the starting motives and conclusions of the contributions presented at the scientific conference Diverse and inclusive workplaces - legislative starting points organized by the department of labor law and social security law of the Faculty of Law of the P. J. Šafárik University in Košice, which took place on September 29, 2023 in a hybrid form.

With their abstracts, the authors point to a range of problematic areas that are not only a reflection of academic considerations, but also those legal questions that have to be dealt with in ordinary legal practice. The goal is to use analysis and explanation to define the existing labor law measures/tools applicable to the implementation of diversity and inclusion in the workplace according to the current Slovak legal framework and the EU legal framework and thus emphasize the starting point of any effort to build diversity and the implementation of inclusion in the workplace.

The Collection of scientific Contributions of the International scientific conference: 100 Years of Treaty of Trianon – Diplomacy, State and Law on the Turn of the Century.

The presented publication is the first of a series of proceedings published within the solution of the grant APVV-19-0419. The conference took place from 14 to 15 October 2021 with the participation of experts from Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. The ambition of the research team, composed of legal historians and positive lawyers from three countries, is to provide a comprehensive, unbiased view of the peace negotiations that resulted in the Treaty of Trianon with Hungary. The conference, the result of which is the presented collection, was devoted to the causes of possible disputes in Europe - focusing on diplomacy and constitutional development of Central European countries at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, ie in the period immediately preceding the outbreak of World War I.

Monografie Poruchy chůze a stability je první publikací v domácím písemnictví, která se této mezioborové problematice věnuje. Hlavní editorka knihy MUDr. Martina Hoskovcová, Ph.D., stejně jako celý kolektiv autorů, se této problematice věnují dlouhodobě. Editorský tým pochází z Hennerovy neuroloMgické kliniky, kde se výzkumem poruch chůze zabývají už více než 20 let. Zdánlivě úzkou problematiku překračuje, protože v Obecné části pojednává i o anatomii, neurofyziologii, kineziologii a ontogenezi chůze a stability, a zohledňuje také vliv stárnutí na tyto funkce. Současně detailně představuje základní diferenciálnědiagnostickou rozvahu pro klasifikaci obou poruch a obecný postup při jejich vyšetřování, který originálně integruje pohled neurologa a fyzioterapeuta. Představeny jsou rovněž klinické a přístrojové metody vyšetření. Speciální část se zaměřuje na klinický obraz poruch chůze a stability, specifika vyšetření a současné trendy v léčbě u širokého spektra neurologických diagnóz. Předmětem jednotlivých kapitol jsou poruchy chůze a stability v důsledku postižení periferních nervů, svalů a kostry, mozečku a vestibulárního aparátu, z důvodu spastické parézy, u Parkinsonovy nemoci, u dystonie a dalších hyperkinetických syndromů, ale také u funkčních (psychogenních) poruch. Samostatná kapitola se věnuje poruchám chůze a pádům ve stáří a roztroušené skleróze. Obě části jsou doplněny celou řadou ilustrací a přehledných shrnujících tabulek. Publikace je výsledkem spolupráce předních neurologů, rehabilitačních lékařů a fyzioterapeutů a je určena především tomuto spektru odborníků. Užitečné informace zde však naleznou i praktičtí lékaři a odborníci z dalších profesí, stejně jako studenti medicínských oborů a širší veřejnost.
