The movement of domain walls in ferromagnetic materials is utilized in various magnetic devices for storing, processing, or transmitting signals and information. This mainly includes transformer cores, various sensors, memory devices (e.g., HDDs in PCs), as well as modern spintronic devices such as Racetrack memories, domain wall motion-based electronics, and so on.

This book is intended to serve as a textbook for advanced courses in the field of magnetic materials. It is primarily aimed at students interested in studying magnetic materials, as well as professionals from various fields who wish to understand the basics of domain structure and its changes. It is divided into nine chapters. The first chapter deals with a brief history of the study of domain structure in magnetic materials. The second chapter provides an introduction to the causes and manifestations of magnetic anisotropies. The third and fourth chapters are devoted to the causes of domain structure formation and domain walls. The fifth chapter discusses the structure of domain walls, their potential, and the critical field required for domain wall movement. The sixth chapter is dedicated to magnetization processes, one of which - domain wall movement - is discussed in detail in chapter 7. The eighth chapter contains a theoretical solution for domain wall movement. The final ninth chapter presents a modern method of domain wall movement induced by electric current.

The presented work assumes that the reader has at least basic knowledge in the field of magnetism. Otherwise, the author refers the reader to basic literature (e.g., [2.1 - 2.6]).

Among them 652 plant species endangered according to CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) are grown in the botanical garden as well as 39 autochtonous plant species are protected by Slovak law.

V neposlední řadě nabízí inovativní možnosti ve vzdělávání v této oblasti i s využitím simulačních metod výuky. Do textu jsou zahrnuty nové způsoby a mezinárodní doporučení odborných institucí, včetně vědeckých poznatků využitelných v prevenci infekcí spojených se zdravotní péčí. Předkládaná publikace reflektuje požadavky na kvalitní a bezpečné poskytování zdravotních služeb v podmínkách 21. století. Její struktura vychází z dosavadní publikační činnosti a vědecko-výzkumného zaměření autora.

In mid-October 2014, the second annual conference "Human Capital and Society" was held, organized by the Department of Social Studies of the Faculty of Public Administration at P. J. Šafárik University in Košice, in collaboration with another department of the faculty, the Department of Economics and Management of Public Administration. Today, you have before you the proceedings encompassing contributions presented by participants of this conference. In preparing it, the editors had to deal with the diversity of the participants' profiles, which was reflected in the authors' approaches to the issues they addressed, and subsequently had the contributions reviewed by experts from various fields. The individual contributions address traditional topics, as well as newer and emerging themes, reflecting current problems and questions related to human capital, organizational behavior, and primarily, public administration.

At the conference, researchers specializing in management, psychology, political science, social work, sociology, anthropology, linguistics, as well as individuals who do not belong to just one scientific discipline, came together. It was interesting to see how people from different disciplines view the same phenomenon. The conference demonstrated that an interdisciplinary approach can highlight the shortcomings in identifying and understanding problems from the perspective of just one discipline.

Ošetrovateľský proces predstavuje východiská pre efektívnu a štandardizovanú prácu sestry. Aby mohla sestra poskytovať kvalitnú ošetrovateľskú starostlivosť, musí mať adekvátny základ vedomostí a dostatok zručností. Realizácia ošetrovateľského procesu znamená nielen progres pre pacienta ako príjemcu kvalitnej ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti, ale tiež sa podieľa a zabezpečuje ochrannú bariéru pre samotný výkon povolania sestry. Metóda ošetrovateľského procesu je v súčasnosti medzi zdravotníckymi profesiami ošetrovateľstva a pôrodnej asistencie známa, keďže sa zaviedla do klinickej praxe u nás už pred vyše dvadsiatimi rokmi. Aj v študijných odboroch ošetrovateľstvo a pôrodná asistencia má už tento program pevné miesto. Možno ho poskytovať v každom prostredí, kde sa vykonáva ošetrovateľská
starostlivosť v zdraví, počas choroby a vo všetkých fázach života.

Táto vysokoškolská učebnica je rozdelená do piatich kapitol. Určená je na vzdelávanie študentov ošetrovateľstva a pôrodnej asistencie, sestrám a pôrodným asistentkám v praxi, ako aj pedagógom. Jednu kapitolu tvorí ošetrovateľský proces a ďalšie sú zamerané na vybrané klinické odbory. V každej z týchto kapitol sú uvedené charakteristiky jednotlivých chorôb, špecifiká ošetrovateľského procesu vo vybraných klinických odboroch, príklady ošetrovateľských diagnóz a ošetrovateľská starostlivosť. Na konci každého ošetrovateľského procesu sú uvedené kontrolné
otázky na podporu samoštúdia. Umožňujú pedagógom a hlavne študentom overiť si vedomosti z danej problematiky.

Autorský kolektív predpokladá, že táto učebnica doplní chýbajúce odborné texty vo vzdelávaní študentov ošetrovateľstva a pôrodnej asistencie a pomôže im lepšie pochopiť predkladané učivo.

Na záver si dovoľujeme vysloviť poďakovanie recenzentom tejto publikácie za ich cenné pripomienky.

The aim of the monograph was to analyze the pedagogical possibilities of educational systems within children's and youth organizations, with an emphasis on those targeting the age group of children up to 15 years.

The starting point was an analysis of the current state of theory and practice in children's and youth organizations, with the intention of describing prevailing trends in their development and activities. This publication closely follows the previous monograph (Juščák, J. – Darák, M.: 2015), in which we processed, according to a unified methodology and using generally accepted pedagogical terminology, the collected available materials on the educational systems of selected (most representative) children's and youth organizations in Slovakia. Through a subsequent comparison of the obtained empirical data on educational systems, we aimed to identify their similar (identical) as well as specific (distinct) elements as a basis for establishing categorization criteria for their classification.

The culmination of our efforts was an attempt to characterize a children's organization as an educational institution, describing its characteristic features, functions, aims, content, principles, and educational methodology.

The textbook "Foundations of Methodology in Pedagogical-Psychological Research" is primarily intended for students of teaching academic subjects, but it will enrich anyone who needs to familiarize themselves with research methodology focusing on psychological and pedagogical sciences. In the textbook, students become acquainted with the basic principles of conducting research, the process of research implementation, and the basic methods of quantitative or qualitative approaches. The examples used in the textbook are mostly focused on research conducted in a school environment.

By mastering the basic knowledge presented in the textbook, the reader will be able to conduct simple research in school conditions. At the same time, understanding the principles of research methodology helps with the critical evaluation of information from various sources. In preparing the textbook, we utilized our long-term experience with teaching the subject of research methodology, as well as with implementing many research projects. We believe that the simple language of the textbook and the abundance of practical examples will help students understand the basics of such complex issues as research methodology.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the students of the Faculty of Arts and Natural Sciences at P. J. Šafárik University in Košice who attended the course "Foundations of Methodology in Pedagogical-Psychological Research" in the previous academic year for their inspiration, constructive comments on previous versions of the text, and ideas (or mistakes) that we drew upon in the textbook. We also thank other students who allowed us to use examples from their final theses in the textbook. The conclusion of the work is open because, as it turns out, we do not have a common denominator for both concepts that could decide on the correctness of one or the other concept. It is precisely in this that the Socratic question remains a serious philosophical problem today.

The aim of this publication, entitled Truth vs. Post-Truth. „It is not true, but it could be.”, is to highlight the threats arising from the issue of the spread of disinformation, conspiracies and hoaxes today, reflecting not only on the national context, but also on the impact of these elements in the international environment.

The proceedings consist of 12 articles written in Slovak and English. The individual contributions deal with selected topics and aspects of the spread of disinformation, conspiracy theories or hoaxes, among others in the context of elections, media landscape and politics.

The topics of the contributions are the limits of freedom of expression, media freedom and regulation in the media space, the issue of propaganda or information warfare. The present volume also includes papers focusing on issues in the field of political ideologies or the issue of false narratives about the COVID-19 disease.

This publication captures the conference proceedings of the international scientific conference "20 years in the European Union in terms of law and the era of sustainability". The second part of the conference proceedings includes contributions concerning the process of enshrining human right to environment in international law and European law, the development of biodiversity protection in the EU, NATO´s role in climate change response to meet the sustainability and suing tort damages from the Dieselgate emissions scandal.
