It includes seeds collected from the wild plants in natural localities of Slovakia with a detailed description of the localities with coordinates and date of collection (66 samples) and seeds of plants grown in the Botanical Garden (46 samples) and seeds from Exposition of the Tatra Mountain Nature of the State Forests of Tatra National Park, Tatranská Lomnica (73 samples) as well as 58 seed samples from Hrádocké Arboretum of the Secondary Forestry School of Jozef Dekret Matejovie in Liptovský Hrádok. The index includes a desiderata table that can be used when ordering seeds.

Kniha vede čtenáře k rychlému stanovení diagnózy, při nejasném výsledku diferenciální diagnostiky pak ke správné orientaci v příslušné speciální monografii. Je členěna podle jednotlivých klinických jednotek se snahou o maximální možnou stručnost a přehlednost sdělení. Na úvod u každého onemocnění je „klíč“ k diagnostice, se základními údaji o dané nemoci. Následují neuroradiologické informace, převažující nálezy při vyšetření magnetickou rezonancí a výpočetní tomografií, respektive výsledky zobrazení, klinické údaje a diferenciální diagnostika. Obrazová část je pouze ilustrační, jedná se o výstupy z různých přístrojů a různých časových období. U jednotlivých diagnóz jsou uvedeny kazuistiky, které jsou různě rozsáhlé, v závislosti na dostupné zdravotnické dokumentaci. Publikace je určena lékařům zabývajícím se onemocněními hlavy a mozku, tedy radiologům, neurologům, neurochirurgům, onkologům, otorinolaryngologům, oftalmologům, a také studentům medicíny.

The scientific monograph The Value of Human Life in the Connotations of Postmodernism presents a current issue of reflections on the value of human life. It sees in the broader connotations of postmodern society, where the approaches of applied ethics (bioethics), philosophy and Christian theology intersect. This issue is embedded in the historical, philosophical, sociological and cultural-social Postmodernism.

The monograph analyses the postmodern value system, the dominant postmodern anthropological concept, secular bioethics and civil law in relation to human life and its value. The key is the confrontation of the postmodern anti-life mentality and life in the most discussed bioethical issues: contraception, artificial insemination techniques, genetic manipulation, abortion, sterilization, (bio) technology, euthanasia. An alternative approach is offered by the theological vision of human and life presented in the Judeo-Christian context. In the light of modern theological disciplines, the personnel concept is enriched by theological anthropology culminating in an eschatological vision.

In this sense, the issue of the value of human life culminates, which is also inspired by one of the most important encyclicals of Pope John Paul II. Evangelium vitae (25th anniversary of its writing). It is she who calls for the acceptance and respect of every human life and for the practical development of a new culture of life.

Publikácia je komplexným zhrnutím doterajších teoretických poznatkov a praktických skúseností z oblasti činností Policajného zboru. Súčasná policajná prax pociťuje absenciu publikácie, ktorá by vo svojom obsahu vysvetlila postupy pri výkone policajných činností v rozsahu súčasného znenia zákona o Policajnom zbore. Publikácia sa preto sústreďuje najmä na praktickú činnosť policajta pri výkone služby, vykonávanie služobných zákrokov, používanie donucovacích prostriedkov, ale aj povinnosti a oprávnenia príslušníkov Policajného zboru. Okrem toho rozoberá úlohy, organizáciu a riadenie Policajného zboru, informačno-technické prostriedky a operatívno-pátraciu činnosť, spracúvanie informácií Policajným zborom, spôsoby a formy kooperácie Policajného zboru s inými subjektmi a náhradu škody. Publikácia má byť praktickou pomôckou policajta vo vzťahu ku kvalitnému a efektívnemu plneniu jeho úloh, povinností a oprávnení v priamom výkone služby. Autori chcú predmetnou publikáciou osloviť čitateľov z odbornej verejnosti, najmä príslušníkov Policajného zboru, zložiek Ministerstva vnútra Slovenskej republiky, bezpečnostných mimorezortných služieb, ale tiež aj laickej verejnosti, ktorá mnohokrát dochádza do bezprostredného kontaktu so zásahmi polície do ich práv a slobôd.

Collection of Contributions from the XVth Student Symposium on International Law and European Law, held on April 22, 2022, in a hybrid format, with the participation of students from the Faculty of Law of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice and the Faculty of Law of Trnava University in Trnava.

The jubilee XV. year of student symposium from international and European law took place at the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik, faculty of law, on April 22, 2022, symbolically on Day Earth. This year's event was dedicated to the increasingly pressing issue of environmental protection. The topic "Green ambitions in the light of European and international law" appealed to many students, resulting in several interesting contributions, falling under both European Union law and international law. European law currently brings great challenges, but also expectations through the European Green Deal. This is also why several student contributions dealt with topics falling under the European Green Deal, either from the point of view of its individual initiatives in general, or more specifically, in the intentions of Agenda 2030, or the implementation of the so-called green diplomacy.

The other part of contributions dealt with environmental protection within international law. Students addressed issues of an environmental nature in the areas of climate change, international maritime law, atmospheric protection, or the issue of so-called climate refugees. The publication itself is an output of the APVV project APVV-20-0576 "Green ambitions for sustainable development (European Green Deal in the context of international and national law)".

An important part of the content includes nutrition in relation to cancer. Beneficial for the present time is also a chapter focused on food allergies and intolerances.

The publication highlights specific and targeted nutritional interventions as part of the treatment regimen, which is essential to know and follow in a patient's personal life.

The proposed methodological guide focuses on a self-care questionnaire for the target group of adolescents. The creation of this methodology was prompted by its absence in the conditions of the Slovak Republic. The methodological guide consists of both theoretical and empirical parts.

In the theoretical part, the authors present theoretical foundations for the proposed methodology—self-care among adolescents—and also provide theoretical definitions of components of self-care in this target group. The second, empirical part of the methodological guide is dedicated to validation methods used to verify the questionnaire. It also presents results examining differences or correlations in the presented issues.
