The Proceedings of the International Scientific Seminar, which took place on 24.11.2017 at the Faculty of Public Administration of UPJŠ in Košice, contains the results of the scientific and research activities of the contributors. The contributions were presented at a seminar, which was realized as part of the VEGA project no. 1/0757/17. These results are summed up in seven papers on partial issues related to the provision of selected welfare services that are among the most-frequent - social services, education and security services.
