The period of older adulthood presents important human experience. Counselling can help to make it a formative and personality developing experience. We perceive the counselling as an application of a personality into a sphere of handling, performance that develops his or her being further. We work on an assumption of development application into the counselling and we relate to the work “Introduction to Counselling Psychology” that was published earlier. In this teaching material the chapter “Counselling for Older Adults” has been worked up in detail. This work can contribute to understanding and support of this important period in the human life.
