Lekárska biológia a genetika

The university textbook „Medical biology and genetics“ provides the theoretical foundations of cell biology, molecular biology and genetics in an understandable form. The textbook contains the latest knowledge from the relevant fields, supplemented by illustrative images, tables and graphs. Clearly divided chapters introduce students to the issues of cell biology, molecular biology processes and the laws of genetics. The textbook is primarily intended for Slovak students of the first year of medical faculties. Its content is the basis for succesfully mastering the biology subject. The textbook is also used as a basic source of information for students of faculties of science. In addition to basic data, some chapters contain additional information for a better understanding of individual topics. These more detailed data are distinguished by font size and are not necessary for passing the biology exam. However, the relevant additional information can be used by students of higher years of medical faculties and postgraduate students.
