Vybrané kapitoly z gynekológie a pôrodníctva pre študentov fyzioterapie

            Due to its scope, content, form and method of elaboration, the university textbook is intended for students of the bachelor's study program Physiotherapy. It is aimed at acquiring basic knowledge in the field of gynecology and obstetrics.

            The textbook consists of two main chapters: selected chapters from gynecology and selected chapters from obstetrics. The first chapter is divided into 6 subchapters. The author mentions the anatomy of the female genitalia, the basics of gynecological examination, inflammation of the female genital organs and sexually transmitted diseases. The conclusion of the first chapter is devoted to benign and malignant cancers of the female genitalia. The second chapter is also divided into 6 subchapters, in which the author deals with prenatal care, placement of the fetus in the uterus, childbirth, associated diseases in pregnancy and abortion.

            The textbook is written in the range of 83 pages. The text contains 35 figures, 9 tables, a list of abbreviations and symbols and a list of used literature. The author cites 35 mostly foreign citations.
