Dental Materials Science

The dental materials science is an integration of science of biology, chemistry and physics. Dental materials science is advancing rapidly with new materials and technology being developed to improve the clinical performance of materials. In addition to the development of new materials, increased attention is being directed at the biological compatibility of these materials locally or systematically.
