Scientific monograph introduces social policy in a new way as an anthropocentricly directed applied scientific discipline. Its main aim is to identify social policy through values and value systems of western civilizations, which are perceived as a cornerstone of its genesis and formation. It can be observed that in regard to the polyparadigmatic standpoint of various sciences solving individual social events, there is a little or no attention paying to this problem in a complex view. The monograph is a result of the research, which was focused on examining the axiological nature of social policy itself. It is identified as a fundamental base from which determination of problems are winded off, which are perceived as particular social events. As well as the aims and devices are specified in order to gain them. On one hand, the publication presents synthesis of popular approaches of particular scientific disciplines ( law, economics, sociology, political science ) as a social politics phenomenon, and on the other hand, its contribution puts emphasis on a new axiological and philosophical approach.
